My God...what's with you people? How can you like trains? Actually I shouldn't say anything, I used to love trains before I started working for a railroad.

Good ol' 916. I think Raticus told me there used to be a few more of those out there.
I've posted both of these before, I believe, but oh well. They're the only train pics I have.

Trains actually scare the ever-loving hell out of me. As luck would have it, my best exploring buddy absolutely loves them, so I often end up in train yards anyway.

There were several at that location, but they've been moved... scrapped I'm sure. I'll dig up the pictures of them when I get a chance and post them.

Thats what I was thinking about the air hose.

On a semi related topic, I used to walk to middle school (17 miles uphill in the 125 degree heat with a coat on lol) but one day coming home there was a big commotion at the railroad crossing.

There was a little girl (at that time about my age) that stepped in front of the train. Apparently her brother committed suicide and she was utterly distraught. The engineer of the Loco said she smiled at him right before she got hit.

I will save the gory details but lets just say that there was "evidence" left behind....if you know what I mean.

Then about 2 years ago, another child got hit in just about the same spot.

This happens alot on metro system in DC. Most of the time the person never initial dies, but bleeds to death because of impact, being run over, or both.

The jumper usually waits at the entrance of the tunnel when the train is still going fast.

Another thing which I find funny is the person who jumps on the tracks and grabs the 3rd rail. They are usually arrested and Ok. The one thing they forgot to do after grabbing the 3rd rail, was grabbing another track to continue the circuit.

Loose/long air hoses are real! Other loose heavy-ass, dangling, head smashing/ gut ripping stuff abounds as well.
Ass fucking hole; life will sort him out

The engineer wasn't liking that shit, and neither were the cops that had to follow up to see if the asshole was dead.

If we are lucky, young cretins like that will remove themselves from the gene pool before they have a chance to breed.

Now that is a good word for him "CRETIN"

Cretinism is a condition of severely stunted physical and mental growth due to untreated congenital deficiency of thyroid hormones (hypothyroidism). Lindsell is one of these. The term cretin refers to a person so affected and is no longer considered to be politically correct nomenclature.........Wikipedia

My mother always used that term when I was a kid, I never knew exactly what it meant. I just knew it referred to a dumbshit.

That kid was lucky a lowboy intermodal didn't come through.
