Holy crap nice shot 2X!

I've got quite a few train shots, both active and abandoned, though they're all from California. I'll post some if it's not against the rules.

Nah, we'd be honored to have you share some CA trains here. Especially abandoned ones!

Lionel Train sets are awesome! My dad had a huge set, and if I ever see him again I might ask for it.

Sorry I've been scarce around here. Lots of other things taking up my time right now.
Here's a shot I took a couple of years ago in the Justin area.

You should, the majority of my collection is from my grandfather and father from when they were children, most of my stuff had been in the attic for about 40 years. Since both of them are gone its a good way to remember them! For the most part, a good cleaning and lube got them back on the rails although the prewar stuff needed complete rewiring and replacement of parts (easy stuff). But when I initially unpacked my 1930s steamer it ran.....with sparks....but it ran. Regardless, its a testament of the quality of Lionel Trains.

A little beat up but I call it patina! This is my slowest and favorite Lionel engine (probably because I overhauled it completely on my own).

That would have been a bad situation, when this one came I had to run the opposite way and jump underneath of the trestle. Nothing like Hollywood or anything but still. Risk you take I guess
