Nah, no way. This thread is great. Even if you don't like trains, which I do, you guys have put together a really cool thread. I've been really tied up at work the last 2 weeks and haven't been online a lot, so I was catching up this morning. Really like the song links too, especially that one with the video. I'm assuming they made that from one of the simulator games. Nicely done though. And yeah yea, I'm a kid trapped in a 46 yr olds body.

| | | Nice shots! Thanks for telling me about this thread, Bustedknuckle! I've been to Texas a few times on vacation with my family, and here are a few of my favourite shots from the Corpus Christi area.
KCS 4022 (lead loco in the last shot) is an SD70ACe, a newer model produced by EMD, and was built in London, Ontario, about 20 minutes away from my hometown of Woodstock! Here are two shots of the back lot at EMD, where locomotives sit in-between various stages of construction or painting.
I have hundreds of photos posted on my website: http://jay.thegrebs.com Unfortunately, my website is currently posting entries in reverse order. My oldest posts are showing up first! I haven't gotten around to fixing this error yet, but you can check out the newest stuff by clicking January 2008, etc on the right-hand sidebar.

| | | This is my absolute favorite locomotive (well probably tied with the EMD F series) This is in Roanoke Virginia where my family came from, my great Grandfather and Gigiee (I still call my grandfather that) and my great Uncle all worked for Norfolk and Western RR. This is #611 J series streamliner built in 1950 at the N&W Roanoke shops. My great uncle is the engineer in this photo, this loco is in the transportation museum up there now.

I'll have to go back and check, but I am almost certain that 611 was in the January issue of Trains magazine. I just finished the issue and put it in the closet. I think I'm going to have a part of a letter I sent them a few weeks ago in the Feb or March issue about a guy who volunteers at the Mineola station. Anyway, I think 611's picture was in there. I'll double check. All these shots are really good. 2X, and Trains, those pictures you guys posted are great. You guys should submit them to Railpictures.net. Their good shots.

But of course, nothing but. No MTH or K-Line type of stuff runs on my layout. Mostly pre/post war Lionel, couple of modern pieces though. I would consider some of the Williams stuff though
