or is that just China?
maybe just waiting for her to leave would be best

MY recent addition to Security Measures.

A chain with a Thick padlock blocking the entrance. But instead of the Padlock being closed it was only half open. AND I almost didn't notice it and went home!!

That definitely does sound more like China than Korea. Still, what uniform would a white guy in Korea look normal wearing while climbing into an abandoned hospital? I'm going there to teach an English class?

I'm sort of above average for a Korean. I'm tall for an American though, judging by so many of the army guys coming through here.

I imagine there'd be nothing worse than moving to Asia so you wouldn't feel so short, and then discovering that the average high school girl is taller than you.

Video demo.

There's not a lot (picture-wise) to see until you watch the gate swing open, so check it out.

Locked gate, fence above, touches the wall on one side, barbed wire blocking the other side, with fencing on top. Possible to climb over, BUT:

Scuff marks going around the post instead of in the upward arc like the clasp would make. Whoever opens this gate doesn't lift that clasp...

i came to a place where I almost did what you did to that gate. as it happened, the post that it 'locked' against was loose, so we just pulled that particular one out of the ground, opened the gate, and replaced.

nobody was the wiser...

reminds me of the fences around most construction sites

you just lift them off the posts, swing them open like a door and put them back into place

and this isn't just one spot in the fence but along the entire perimeter

I was all ready to give up when I remembered the gate I used to go through every day with a clasp just like that. You just give it a decent push (like putting a drink down) and it glides open.

My experience with construction fences is that they have ties you have to undo before you can take them apart.
