This engine is in the wny area. It has been sitting on this siding for years. At some point, someone had plans to restore it. I have read the history, I just can't find it again.

The milk man or the pool guy?

I think the bread man. He seems to favor a certain brand. I don't really have room, but I'd make room.

Thx! That train was parked in a train yard by the old Imperial Sugar Factory. When I was sure no one was looking, I climbed in the cockpit and sat in the captain's seat. I probally wouldn't do it again tho, because cars pass thru that area. There are also a few guards

Imperial Sugar... haha. That's cool. Would that happen to be in Sugarland?

I grew up in the Santa Fe/Texas City area down there near Houston. I'm pretty familiar with Sugarland and had some friends there back in the day.

The Phallus of Dallas...

Hey 2X (or anybody actually)
A couple of years ago I was wandering across the trestle behind Lew Sterrett( In pitch black on rotten ties...) and there were these UFO landing lights set up between the levies. I heard that they were for the bridge party and were supposed to outline where the new art bridge was gonna be.
Is that right?

I know that place. :)

Here's one. Very unusual to see one of these in my part of the woods.

On the F-units there are minor differences, but usually the easiest way to tell them apart is by the diesel.

*Toward the end of their service life here, Santa Fe had F-units that were painted all yellow and some that were blue and yellow. Most of the Texas F-units were scrapped out in Cleburne (along with their freakin roundhouse)*
