Felony?? I saw lots of people doing it.. and the engineer was right there on the front of the train.. I think they know the people are doing it... It's the one at the stockyards, so the tracks are right there going through the sidewalk.

Hmm... interesting. I learn something new everyday.

Im sorry, that's the Grapevine Vintage RR train (GP7), I meant on any main railroad line, like Union Pacific of BNSF. My mistake .

Problem is, is that one, you aren't supposed to be near the tracks or roadbed and two, a foreign object on the rail poses a threat of de-railing the train when its at high speed. Very unlikely but there ya go. Of course I myself never ever ever break these rules....lol

This guy almost got busted for this shot, but its a cool picture regardless.

I know I'm a few days behind on this thread but nice train Happiedaze. I've never heard that one, BK, about the felony on the pennies. I know it's against the law to put stuff on the tracks, but didn't know it was a felony. Shit, I got enough squashed pennies to put me in the pen for 5 life sentences. :)

Heres my Texas train pics for the weekend.
