| | | Having only 1 film camera isn't working anymore with school so I need a second camera. I already have an established K mount system so it's gotta be a manual K mount camera. I only have about 30 to spend so my options are kind of limited. What would you guys recommend? I'm really leaning toward another Sigma SA-1 or a Pentax K1000 [last edit 4/21/2010 11:36 PM by budda - edited 1 times]

| | | Seeing the lack of response and doubting anyone really cares. Anyway I ended up with a K1000. I can't wait for it to arrive!

| | | Anyone else think we might want to retire this thread and start anew? I can't imagine that camera buying advice in 2005 is all that relevant now.

| | | While a lot of the advice still holds true, yeah, this thread is getting a bit clunky.

We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit. |
