Hey guys!
It's been a minute.
Thought I'd pop on and say hi! COVID has had me working like a maniac but I've been doing a little research lately and found a couple new leads. Might head out tomorrow and see.
Hope everyone is doing well!

So I was checking the pipe I was referring to earlier
The scaffolding from below looks pretty sick.

after doing some exploring into an abyss like hole in the forest I stumbled upon it.
but unfortunately its a waterslide

Grounds for expulsion.

Grateful to have visited this one before demolition commenced. I regret my minimal documentation, though I am unsure if more formal photographs could even have done it justice. Considering the building's history and usage, in its infancy this location would have been comparable to the Brewery, Camsell, or the Black Friday Refinery Site. Spent over six hours wandering around in N95s and disposable clothing with a small party before watching the sunset on the roof. Perfect summer evening.

The combination of old & new faces with pictures of old & new places is giving me the warm fuzzies. Great to see!

Some places I explored recently. I know the nature tunnel isn't really abandoned but still pretty cool.

Is it just me or are demolitions still happening at a pretty steady rate even though we're in COVID times?

If they weren't already, the Green Line go-ahead is gonna fuel Calgary's rate of bandos.

Also check this one out, it hasn't moved in four years. All they've done is years is strike (remove) the crane.

GL demos are remaining steady. Despite the year-long delay in last month's council approval, they haven't backed off on the enabling works at all based on the schedule I saw.

There's a number of other structures in the burbs/NW/SW that have been coming down quick though. I haven't been to the NE or much of the SE recently.

Hey there! I'm curious if there were still people in deadmonton running around and exploring during times such as these.. I have adventured throughout Edmonton a lot over the years usually by myself and it's a shame that most spots have been demolished consistently.. Looking for likeminded hooligans!

Haven't gotten out there yet but hoping to very, very soon. Lots of plans for when nicer weather comes around and I have the right company. Super new to urbex but excited to get started

Hey new faces! You caught us in the off season, but there is an active little community in the city. Hopefully as things warm up we'll come out of hibernation.

Somehow this post made me remember it's been almost four years since I've been back, and I'm not sure how much longer.
