I had a blast! Transitioning back to the real world has been interesting...urbex has been helping to bridge the gap between the surreal and reality though

Mostly thanks to our intrepid comrades in this instance. Let's just say I checked a long-tempting site off the list last night, thanks to Germ & Taco.

We should do a thing sometime soon! It's been awhile.

Isn't this the place we eyeballed a year ago tomorrow?

Anyone ever get inside it?

I believe I voted there once, back when Canada still allowed me to vote.

I made it in! Spent a couple hours inside. Funny I was going to take another trip this weekend but....no such luck!

Man I wish I'd had a closer look at the airport before they started tearing it up.

As for what to do with it now, I rarely ever say this, but what that whole area needs is a Korean-style highrise apartment complex, to build population density close to the city center.

I've been playing SimCity lately...... Are you an urban planner, Steed?

No, I'm probably the exact opposite. Whenever I go back to visit the urban sprawl weirds me out. Edmonton is roughly the same size as Seoul with less than 1/10 the population.

That's actually kind of mind blowing when you think about it.

Must.go.in.

It's quite doable.

And Steed, after reading that I walked out to my backyard, extended my arms out in both directions, and spun a couple times. Not hitting anyone was pretty sweet. Thanks man, never thought about that before.
