It's quite doable.

And Steed, after reading that I walked out to my backyard, extended my arms out in both directions, and spun a couple times. Not hitting anyone was pretty sweet. Thanks man, never thought about that before.

You'd be surprised, as long as you avoid subway stations and some market areas, Seoul doesn't feel that crowded, just enough that street crime is virtually nonexistent in all parts of the city. It is also nice having about five convenience stores and maybe 20 restaurants within five minutes' walking distance from home, rather than having to get in the car and drive 10 minutes to get to the nearest one of any of those.

Anyway, getting back to Edmonton, looks like they found two time capsules in Knox.

Backhoe operators get bored. They notice when one brick looks suspiciously less like a brick and more like a locked box.

Like that Syncrude site that discovered a random plesiosaur fossil while digging around a few years back.

Sounds like we're gonna get our own ghost mall in AB soon enough. First I'd heard of this. Calgarians, any input?

There's a ton of interest in the mall from Asian people. It might take another year or two, but it will be saved once the initial investors/speculators/flippers divest their ownership (at a loss) and some owner-operators can set up shop.

Though New Horizon is a ghost town, it's far from being urbex. And I don't mean that in the "That's not urbex" way, I mean more like it's gonna sit open, clean and ready until some peeps start renting it out.

If I lived nearby I'd totally set up an office there. Show off what I can do and chat with locals, maybe make a few sales as business starts to pick up. Until that point it would be a really chill (and cheap) place to have an office.

Explorers, assemble!

/dramatichornblast

There's a small group of us here in the city that explore together pretty regularly. We could probably set something up.
