Well, if Chang and Eng were to go checking out abandonments, they might get one or two votes, depending on whether you used the 1800s or 2000s level of medical knowledge.

Yeah I'm coming to attend and I need to know some place to show up at so I don't look like a dumb tourist with my camera. Also as great as it would be for me to just go to the middle of the air port runways I think the feds frown on that.

| | | | I'm so behind in my UER readin', sorry. For those new to the game, I'm the nominal organizer of the meetups -- which really just means I'm the one with the rights to modify the official event listing.
Does mid-cities still seem like a good location for meeting up? Starbucks is cool and all that, but I've always leaned towards the anti-corporate, greasy-spoon type of meeting place. Just up Belt Line is a spot we've met up at before:

They have a wide-ranging menu, plenty of pasta options, and their large pizza is the size of a truck tire. And they don't mind if we kinda take over the place and get loud telling our stories, tall tales, and outright fabrications.
If I can get an "Amen!", I'll set it up on the event listing. And, just in case, I'll call to make sure they're actually open. Things happen.
Also, what time? 2-ish would be better for me, because I've got another meeting earlier in the day.
