| | | Posted by corbenator I didn't know that buffalo could be used as an adjective or a verb. And I've been studying to become an English teacher! Oh how the system has failed me....
|
I thought you had to be at least 60, and a bride of satan to do that?

| | | well you see... society/the government/lobbyists have finally acknowledged that there's something wrong with education... so they figure sending in fresh young faces to do the job might make things better. bride of satan, no... though i may be going to hell when i die, i will not be satan's bitch.

| | | Just played on my music player: "Don't Stand So Close To Me", by Sting (1980). Relevant to the above, not necessarily in a good way.

The Teaching bit. My Mother, Grandmother, and one of my cousins are teachers and they keep order in their classes but those children are still evil.

| | | I didn't realize this meet was the same day as Mother's Day, and as such I shall not be able to attend, I'm taking my mom out to eat that day to celebrate the greatness that she is. I hope you guys have a great time and I'll see you all in June.

Isn't that what boyfriends are for? That's what I was always told when the bill came. But the burgers aren't bad for a non-fastfood joint, maybe $5-8, which is more than I have sometimes. The fries are under $5, and delicious.

And then, it asks the question: in a cold, uncaring, ruthless world of corporate slavery and assembly-line experiences . . . how is it possible to still live a life with strength, and passion, and with a soul that is still truly alive? |

| | | Or how about a cookout at a local park one Saturday afternoon? We could call it a "convention" and give it a name, like we did for "Swiftmas".

| | | Posted by Ardamass Thats a great idea and we could play Frisbee and explore stuff, and have a sack race. And we could call it "UbarCon" or some better title.
|
How about GOOBERcon? Hahaha.. j/k.
I have a giant flying disc thing that my kids LOVE! It's awesome. We could use that... I also have kites and soccer balls.
Yes.. lets do that! Then we'll get our convention star. You know, those of us who didn't make it to SWIFTMAS! (sad face)
