Well i wish I could have attended this last one and the next few months of these but my work schedule is kinda interfering with these. Looks like the next one I can make is in March unless a tornado comes ripping through my building.

Actually, I'd suggest taking the train. Though admittedly, at $10 a person for a day pass from FW, it'll be cheaper to carpool until gas gets up over $4 a gallon again.
But if you're already in Dallas, it's just $4 to ride all day, and you can see lots of interesting buildings from a unique perspective. I rode on the opening day last Saturday, and got to see the folks fishing down by the Mill Creek outlet into White Rock Creek.

I'd suggest that you look at it as a day to travel to Carrollton and have a burger... and if any explorer-looking folks show up, then it's a bonus.
Also, the pain of $3-gallon gas can be ameliorated by taking the train from FW -- $10 to ride anywhere all day. To get to Carrollton by 2, get on the 11:47 train from Fort Worth T&P Station. Get off at Victory Station (not Union Station, that's too far) and catch the northbound Green Line train. Not only do you avoid driving, but you get a unique perspective on some interesting locations.

I got to go through Heritage park, but it was for a story I'm working on so I actually had permission. It kinda took the fun out of it, having the parks department unlock it for you. Lot of interesting things about to happen to that place.
