| | | Be sure and bring pix to the meetup! ... which is this Saturday. It's in downtown FW, so it's fully transit-accessible.

| | | Yep, there's still time to miss it! I put my own chances of making the meetup at about 60%. I'll know more as things develop in ex-wifeville.

That's one place I like to miss at all costs.
...the wings on my shoes shrank now the moths won't eat my kidneys, when i shake my state capital it only yields 3 fairy napkins, but how do i know my banana slippers are like water boats because when the moon winks it burns my hamster punches, and that's how you get to llama school rowing your canoe backwards up main street when the front bumper falls off, do mermaids get to drink orange juice? |

| | | Ok, chances of my making it just dropped to somewhere near zero, as ex-wifeville just went up in flames. Literally. I just got back from where the trailer went up in flames -- fortunately, the local volunteer FD knows trailers, and most of the damage is only to one half. Everyone got out, including the dogs and cats. Ex-wife's new boyfriend dragged my daughter's dog out from under the bed, and they were the last ones out -- I keep telling my daughter that she should give him more respect! But I'm sure I'll be taking care of all three kids (the two with me and the one who lives with mom) this weekend. So y'all don't be surprised if you meet without me. Since it's just a day away, I think the meetup location will remain the same... if nobody but you shows up, please post pix of the cool windows on the second floor. Here's the info again, from the event page: Picchi Pacchi Pizza http://www.picchipacchi.com/ 5th and Main 512 Main Street, Suite 106 Fort Worth, TX 76102 (817) 870 - 2222 We'll be in the balcony. Look for the straw hat. (Never mind about the straw hat, just look around) If catching the train from Dallas, pick up the 2:22 at Union Station and you'll get to downtown FW at 3:31. If you miss it, you'll be an hour late -- call so that we don't leave without you. If catching the Amtrak from Oklahoma City, it leaves at 8:25.

| | | When you get there ask for Jeff and if there isn't a table under that name already make one. This way we can all make it to the same party unlike last time we wont have a straw hat to look for. Sorry to hear about the fire Robert I hope y'all can get it all sorted out soon.

| | | Well, one advantage of this place is that it don't got no helpful waitstaff waitin' to seat ya. Thanks for the thoughts. My daughter is staying out there to help her sister and mom pick through stuff, and my son and I are going to go camping to relieve his stress. See y'all next month!

| | | Sorry to hear about the fire RobertB. I know first hand what kinda damage a fire does. Everyone made it out ok, that's the main thing. The rest can be replaced.

And then, it asks the question: in a cold, uncaring, ruthless world of corporate slavery and assembly-line experiences . . . how is it possible to still live a life with strength, and passion, and with a soul that is still truly alive? |
