^ U got some nice shots yourself. I would totally flinch from the sparklers and create crazy blur.

on a totally off-topic rant,

I just retrofitted a couple of my flashlights with this weird white translucent paper/film that does a superb job at diffusing light. Hope to test it out soon... stay tuned.

Being a tourist in a flooded tunnel (well, lava tube, actually) - the guy in silhouette is the guide, who was kind enough to wait while I held up the group and took a shot.

It's probably a stretch to call it light painting, but I do like the glow of a busy road:

It's Undara Volcanic National Park, in north Queensland.

These were done just using a mag-lite LED 4D cell.

Nothing to complex, I'm pretty new at this.

This one was done with a laser pointer.

The former distribution centre for a major retailer - site due for demolition and redevelopment in the near future. Most of it is one giant warehouse, in reasonable condition, but the little gatehouse is just plain trashed. So, I put a light in it, with a sliced ping-pong ball on top.

Only got one shot at this one. The cops were in the other room waiting for some kids to come down from the roof.

On this one I illuminated the hopper with just a couple seconds of headlamp.

Somewhere under a bridge in Detroit, I have no idea how someone got an mini van all the way down there.

And this one sort of counts, I lit up the area with just a plain white shurfire, and let the unit do the rest.
