Light painted with the Quark RGB... but in green, originally. I hue-shifted it for reasons I no longer recall (this is going back a good hour or two, you see).

I was tempted to do some steel woollery in that building above, but considering it's wooden framed, was most recently used as a fuel depot, and has a vehicle maintenance pit soaked in old oil, I figured I might just play it safe...

Good call, trust me!

That's an awesome photo, love the spotlight,is it Quark? Quarks suck! But the lucky chum who received mine is probably loving it!

I too have memory probs, however - the red works well.

The spotlight is a regular Quark, which I must admit work much better if you actually receive them. The rest of the painting used the Quark RGB, and avoided overlapping the circle, which is why the surrounding area has those dark blotchy bits.

I went searching for an interesting new steel wool location late last night, but sadly didn't find anything that wasn't either a bit mundane, or too much of a fire risk. I love that bridge shot of yours - I'll steal that idea if the opportunity presents itself.

No, it's not really climbable unless you're into monkeybar-style hand-over-hand climbing up seventy year-old wooden lattice. My compatriot just threw fishing line (with sinkers for weight) through the frame, and we were set - got it on the second try!

A couple more shots of the same setup with the suspended light - different secondary lighting, though - two Fenix lights trained on the wall behind, from the other side of the building.

First ever try at creative light painting. Used a small, focus beam flashlight I found at Target that was on clearance. Still got a lot to learn.

Shoot, sorry for the LARGE image...

And its a bearbanger. (go ahead with the jokes you city folk!)

I got some better images, where the flare is actually lighting up the surrounding area from launch, but photobucket is being stupid and refuses to upload any new images. (for months now, and I pay for it too!)

Photobucket tech support keep telling me its my computer.. heh. (tried 5 different computers, 4 different ISP's and 3 different OS's)
