| | | Posted by optik fire a few rockets into the debris-pile where the location was, so nobody can get in to vandalize it. I almost forgot, I have light-reflective "www.uer.ca" decals all over my vehicles, and on the back of my kevlar vest.

Always wise to prevent anyone from ever again entering the location you just did...You know just in case for safety or ethical reasons. Although you do fail at one aspect, that is if you happen to trap some employees or workers in it providing the news to exploit it bringing unwanted attention to this site with all those UER stickers you left behind.

| | | Posted by Mark Ok I am not condoning TT's posts READ THIS AS IF YOU JUST READ THE FIRST POST. Every blue moon or two a few of us go out and take a but load of gear and food and camp out in abandoned buildings all day, sometimes two three. Anyways we go out with everything from climbing rope to night vision to krill lights. On a side note if you guys havent invested in a Krill light they are freaking awsome. Waterproof puts off low light and can get it in many colors. Great for signialing or having low light viewing of things. Sometimes we go out with a Tarp and some sleeping bags and camp in the center of two or three sites that are in walking distance and go to one each night. It's great fun and I carry some of the same things stated above. We carry a load of stuff with us as well. Camo paint water (which is hevey) MRE's. Standard UE stuff. Non flamable trip flares. Massive med kit. I could almost do field surgery with the stuff for 3 days straight. Each person is tasked a certian job. My best friend and I usually head up security and repel stuff. My other buddy houses food (sometimes a raft if were going to a small island), and shelter material. I am probably going to take my girl out and do this with her as well. Shes are main medic however we are all pretty proficent at med stuff. My parents were in the fire department and I learned a lot which I passed onto my best firend. Basicly equipment ranges from gloves and a krill light on quicky things to a whole load of equipment. (please note if you want to do the over night thing extra socks are a must. Showering can be nearly impossible unless you have scouted a water source. If your female yest infections seem to occur. However that was learned from camping. Watch what scents you bring with you like baby wipes. Also the anti bacterial Alcohol Gel cleaner is very useful to prevent disease. Never forget the bug spray to )

I can get you a cheap (but good quality) Respirator and Geiger Counter. But just out of curiosity, what the hell are Carabiners and Gatorade's? Just for the hell of it, I'll post my extended kitlist in a little more detail: British army S10 Gasmask. Katana. US army survival knife. Kevlar Stabvest. Headlamp. Ex Soviet D-2MV nightvision goggles. Maglight. (The one that doubles up as a baton) Glowsticks. MiniMag torch. Imitation Beretta Super Elite. (all metal replica, just in case) Kevlar Razor Wire protective gloves. Philips screwdriver and flathead screwdriver. Acetone peroxide putty binded with dinitrocellulose. (explosive) Waterproof, chemicalproof NBC suit. (I have several, all in different camo patterns) Camo Netting. (again I have several different colours) 2 man Tent. Spare gasmask filters. Rope. Doorhandle. (seriously) Lockpick set. Utility Belt. (only available in black) Motion sensitive proximator. (good for tracking guards) 2x Kenwood TK3101 Protalk. (2 way radio) Well, that's my kit in detail. You should be able to look up most these items for purchase on the internet. Except for the explosive, but you should be able to buy the individual chemicals then follow instructions on the net to make that stuff. If anyone wants URLs to buy most this stuff I can give them a few. Feel free to ask.

| | | Posted by stealthy Damnit! That's what I forgot! A Backpack! Well, a packpack could weigh you down drastically, or it may not. It could sway either way. It all depends on the equipment you put in there. What you listed above shouldn't weigh you down. But what I can't understand is why you'd need a Zippo Lighter. If you're stuck somewhere in MO, can't just yell "Taxi!"? Or am I thinking of the wrong part of MO? Why'd you need a fire, anyways?

I ran with one last night no problems! Much better then a shoulder camera bag. Courier bags are good too.

| | | This "Ninja Hoodie" is made by Aerosol Function and it's sold at most graffitishops at least in Europe. I bought one online few months ago, and I have to say I like it. It easily blends for regular hoodie and easily converts to ninja style. It has some nice features also, such as the marker pocket inside the left sleeve etc... =) Pics:

| | | This may sound funny, but a condom. If you don't have a water resistant flashlight, through it in a condom, mostly for draining, also put money in, small things you don't want to get all wet and dirty. But don't use a lubricated one, cause it leaves a nasty residue in your pocket

| | | i myself find that some police gear i have compiled will come in handy, maglight holsters, various clips for gear, a sturdy belt for impromtu climbing/lowering, and you can stuff all kinds of good stuff in those ammo clips, a police belt keeps it light without taking up space on your back,

I don't think he's ripping anyone off. Taking pictures of naked chicks inside abandoned buildings is hardly an original idea.

I think your right. I'm only waiting for someone to it with naked guys. But that would just be extension of the other, not-so-original idea.... Perhaps I should start photographing cats in abandoned locations? I dont think anyone has that niche yet. [last edit 1/16/2007 1:13 AM by Air - edited 1 times]
