Looks like the quiz thread was locked, which kind of proves my point. The UER forum gestapo couldn't handle criticism and put a stop to it. I'm so glad we have such bevevolent moderators who are able to decide what we can and cannot say for us, I know having the ability to speak my mind was pretty stressful on me.
Anyway, I expect this thread to be locked or deleted a few seconds after I hit the "Post new thread" button, so I doubt anyone will read it. Oh well.

The forum resides on Av's server and if that were to go down, so would infiltration's forum.

Wouldn't THAT be a shame.
Ninj is a way cool guy, I think this forum would be MUCH MUCH better off if it were under his control rather than a bunch of insecure control freaks.

Good question. That is actually one of the problems with this forum, everyone is so wrapped up in the frickin' (language restrained for fear of moderators killing my family and burning my house down, since hearing the F word is how satan enters our groins) forum, its more about the forum itself than the exploration.

PEople always defend his rampant censorship with "oh, but he's putting his hard earned time and money into it".. so? I'll gladly put up the cash for a forum (hey, look, already done (www.uea.ca)) - and not enact any censorship on it.
UE is all about conflicting views, forcing your ideas on the whole community is a terrible, terrible idea. Whoever named this thread has it right, this is "Nazi" moderation.

A while ago, back when this forum was actually about UE, I was going to donate. Now I take the fact that I haven't contributed to AVX's ego tripping and pre-emption of the UE sub culture as a badge of distinction.
And as an actual Urban explorer (of which there are few on this board) I feel I have every right to bitch and moan about the moderators on this board trying to re-forge one of my hobbies in their image.
But basically, what you're saying is I can't complain about the over-moderation on this board until I pay them? Do you realise how that sounds? If you're right, you just proved my point.

I got a forum that I pay for in full. a couple people donate, I dont delete anything. my forum hasn't gone south, hell everyday I claim another disgruntled UER poster and make an AWSOME addition to my forum.
The people this forum spits out will eventually go elsewhere and not come back ,
change is in the air.
