COME PREPARED AS SUCH!
I am switching up the location to Ft. Worth to see how attendance improves/declines.
The drain in question is about 3 or 4 city blocks from the meet up, we can hike it and there is plenty of free parking nearby. DALLAS FOLKS- you can easily ride the train over to Ft. Worth then ride the bus over.
The location is the Taco Bell at 900 West Weatherford Street Fort Worth, TX 76102. Meet up for lunch and cheap grub at 2:00, we'll head out around 3:00 in case anyone is late or hits traffic.
The drain in question will obviously be weather-dependant. I'll come up with a Plan B if the weather looks sour.
I'd recommend bringing: GOOD boots, ziplock baggies for cell phone/wallet, flashlight and batteries, camera, and $5-8 for grub.
PM me for questions, sneak peeks of the drain, or whatever.

For the December Meet N' Greet, I have picked out and scouted an abandonment as a 'plan B', should the weather be non-condusive for draining, or if more people want to go exploring above ground than under. We will still be meeting at Taco Bell, but if we go to the abandonment we'll have to drive over to it, so it'd be nice if someone with a coupe or saloon wouldn't mind giving rides, should be hit the abandonment. (I got a 2 seater pickup  )

The drain is very swollen and high from the recent rain, so given higher than usual waters plus a high of 42... Not really good weather for drains, we'll be freezing balls.
HOWEVER, I did manage to get to the abandonment in question, and I found a very, VERY easy, very safe way in, and I didn't see a soul up there at about 7:00pm. So I'm thinking we'll meet at Taco Bell as planned and then carpool over to the spot.

I think Slow and his friend did. I was soaking wet, and injured my hand in the fall.
I wouldn't mind going back to Fort Worth again. In a couple months or so.

sorry i didnt make it out boys - i am having the most severe of my 3 recent surgeries next monday so i am on lock down now. and will be for a month after the surgery too. i cant drive a car for 3 weeks and cant eat solid food for 2. haha. aint life great?
