It's been a busy time, almost entirely wonderful -- I'm getting married to my new exploring partner on Saturday. The past six months (!) have been filled with hanging out with her and forgetting about, well, just about everything else. We took some great pix of an abandoned house near Corpus Christi that we need to post. And now we're up until midnight every night tying up the loose ends of the wedding plans -- I'm in charge of the Karaoke list for the reception.
If anyone would like to take over the reins of the meetups, I don't object! Just as long as it stays active. As we've noted before, it's the oldest monthly meetup in the UER system (eventid=16), and even if nobody actually attends we can't let it die. I'll send Raticus a PM with my blessing, but y'all will have to fight it out over who should take on the Godlike power and responsibility. I suggest a duel in the Rat Race drain, using any weapons desired as long as they make a pew pew pew sound.

That is a great idea! Both the outing and the planning.
My goal is to get us back on track of Meeting 'n Greeting regular. I don't have a big exciting exploration planned, although there are interesting places to wander near Opening Bell. Captain Slow has pointed out that Rat Race drain is nearby, so that is an option for those interested.
