| | | greetings I'm from Estonia and have been interested in Urban exploration for about 4 years now. It became a great interest to me when i accidentally found an abandoned soviet military radar base. My favorite sites to explore are military sites but sadly there aren't many here where i live. I usually take photos of sites I visit. Well I don't really know what else to write

| | | Hello! My name is BeerBunny (I guess we don't give real names?!) and I'm new. I would love to explore Altona, Anything in Markham, Richmond Hill or East - Pickering, Ajax, Whitby. I've been exploring places for years, but I never realized there would be a cool site like this to meet others. I have an OK camera for photos (Sony Cybershot something, something XYZ...), I always bring snacks and I have a really innocent face and ability to get away with murder (If we get caught). These are just some of my companion perks! LOL! Cheers and Happy exploring!
I'm typing this with my middle fingers. I love the smell of mold in the fall. |

| | | Hi, I'm new here. My name's Mateo and I live in Hawaii. I don't roll particularly deep in UE, but I've been to some interesting sites around the world and I'm looking forward to sharing them with this community. If anyone in Hawaii (or visiting Oahu) is interested in meeting up for some exploring, please hit me with a PM. Happy UE to all, and to all a good night.

| | | Hi, First, I'd like to say that this place is wonderful. The community seems so nice and caring. You can call me Nisska or Lyss. I've been into UEing for a long time, I had just never known that that was what it was called. It has been a while since I've been out and I want to start going out again. I also want to take pictures this time around because like everyone else I'm an amateur photographer. When I work it's freelance IT. I love video games and movies. Especially ones with a post-apocalyptic, or claustrophobic quality. I live in MN near the cities, so of course there isn't a lack of places to explore. I've mainly explored drains tunnels, and some sewers. I have an interest in maps, and the architecture of lost places. I'm thinking of attending Mouser Week coming up, depends on if I get the time. I look forward to meeting you all. I've been reading the board for a long time but never signed up and posted. Cheers!

| | | I'm hardly new to the site, but I'm new to posting. Shame on me. I've urban explored casually with friends, but would like to get more into it (hence why I've decided to not just lurk UER). It's difficult to get into when none of your friends do it and you spend most of your time studying. I'm an amateur photographer with the lowest end SLR you can get - an old Canon Rebel XTi. I'm also a debater, an artist, and an introvert. Hence the lack of posts.

| | | Hello UER! I've been lurking for a few months now so I decided I should register. I'm a graphic design student in NJ and recently became somewhat addicted to UE Photography that I've seen on this site and flickr so I thought it was high time I got out there and and did some exploring of my own. I went up my first drain last week and it was a load of fun even though we had to turn back. It was about 3x4 RCP so I had to crawl a long way and wasn't sure how much longer it would be until it joined the main line that I'm pretty sure runs right under the main street of my home town, I'll be going back soon with a long board. Will post pictures soon. One of the big things on my UE to-do list is to explore an abandoned hotel thats near my campus. It was built in 1927 and has been abandoned since 1985. Apparently it was a really nice place in it's day but now its sealed up like a tomb. It doesn't look like its had many taggers or scrappers (if any) from the outside anyway. Any way I'm drooling just thinking about it... You can all just call me Redbeard for now. Hoping to make some friends on here to explore with.

| | | Hey how goes it folks? They call me Ma'ii (Din'e, meaning Coyote). I've been Urbexing on and off for most of my life but for some reason the thought never really crossed my mind that there might be a place such as this. Anywho I look forward to the opportunity to meet some like minded adventurers and seeing if I might contribute a few of my favorite spots to those I find I can trust w/ them. I live in central MA, not exactly UE heaven but the mill towns out here do offer some pretty snazzy exploring and of coarse you know the asylums around the state. I guess that pretty much sums up my little blurb have a good'n folks.

| | | Hello ny name is "digital chick" I am a photographer of many different styles, one of my styles of photography happens to be urban abandonment. I have a few photo buddies that I go around with and explore abandonment places. I enjoy this style of photography because the images that I capture with my camera preserve the places that I see. My photos tell a story of what I saw, of what the place once was. My first real urban exploration was of a meat packing plant over on York Street across the street from the Best Way concrete Plant in Colorado. The place was huge and it many areas. We got to explore the whole place and shoot lots of photos. Now that whole building is gone, demolished by the City of Denver and the property is all fenced up and it sits as empty land for the Water District. When it was a meat packing plant, it had a huge main building and another building in the back. Urban artists made their hidden treasures thru out the place, and some people even played paint ball in there thru out the Winter. We got to shoot all kinds of photos of urban art, paint ball destruction, and old things of the building. We came across the place and explored it and had fun. I was hooked. Since the place was demolished I'm glad that we got to go in and shoot photos of the place. Today people will drive the place and just see an empty fenced in piece of land, I see what once was, and remember the times we had exploring the place. | | | Hiya! My name is Kay. Due to some circumstances that I honestly don't understand I go by Captain Squeaky. I've been Urbexing(nothing serious just a half abandoned shoe factory and bridges) since I was 15(almost 19 now) I just never knew what it was called. I'm a Contact Juggler in the works. I love Doctor Who, Pirate re-enacting and old abandoned buildings (especially hospitals) with lots of stuff in them. I find abandoned building sad which is just happy for deep people. I've never been Urbexing with anyone and I wish to broaden my exploration. I've recently gotten my brother into Urbexing, which I may regret. He's spent the last week searching for locations in our area and found quite a few nice ones. His handle is Ma'il.

| | | Hey Everyone! My name is Jonathan, I live in the sacramento area, and have grew up around california and nevada, I've been interesting in whats now called urbex for quite some time. My dad and uncle have were always the type of guys to go for a drive and see what they could find, and were really into caves, and mines. I personally enjoy factories and buildings with great heights or some type of weird/creepy background, I look forward to the next sacramento, or bay area meet. Thanks for creating such a great urbex community.
