Hey UER,
My name's Chris and I'm somewhat of a n00b to this sorta thing. Been into photography for many years and only starting to explore abandoned buildings and tunnels. I've done a few already (see post in the DeJarnette Asylum update thread in mid atlantic) and am hooked for more. I want to take a trip out to government Spiders in the near future and would rather go with a more experienced person as that is quite a daunting task to get in camp and get out undetected.

Anyways, Im also into cars and racing (road racing) as well as playing music. I think I have too many irons in the fire but I digress. Hopefully will be getting to know you all soon enough.

G'day everyone, I did a bit of UE a few years back but stopped, I'm just starting up again and am looking for some people in the Calgary area to team up with. I'm 26, a chef and a Geology student. I live in Bragg Creek(west of Calgary). Cheers all!

Hey there, I'll take a moment to introduce myself. Do people even read these? My name is Vanessa and I'm a rookie to this site, although not to exploring. I have yet to go draining, as I do most of my exploring alone and don't believe that to be the best idea. New to Portland, OR, and like all people, I just want someone to hold me and tell me everything is going to be alright. But I digress. I spent my probationary period going through the threads and I must say the pictures are nothing short of amazing! Each one is better then the last and it makes me happy. Finding partners in crime is serious business and involves copious amounts of trust. You need to trust in me and (equally as important) I need to be able to trust in you. Anyone in the Portland area fancy a drink? Nothing brings out the true self like alcohol.. : )
(Doubt I'll be posting anything else for a while, I still have more threads to read through. There is a plethora of fantastic information on this site! Doubt I'll ever need to ask any questions)

Helloo! I'm chrissy and i've been exploring for as long as i can remember, but only recently discovered that it can be considered an organized group activity (which makes me feel both lame and ecstatic). I live in Nashville and I'd love to find others who are somewhat local and will go anywhere abandoned with me (since none of my current friends will). I most enjoy residential structures, but i am not picky. I can't wait to meet people with similar interests for once, and i'm so happy to be here!

if you're afraid of what you need, look around. it won't get any better..

I'm Erica and I'm new to the site. I've been exploring abandoned locations for fun for years, but only learned that it was actually considered a legitimate activity/hobby within the last 2 years.

So I've been registered on UER for quite some time, and I periodically pop in to check things out and skim the forums, but for reasons largely unknown I've finally decided to speak up and join in the conversation. It might be the thrill of having shimmied into an abandoned building in the middle of the day after years of not exploring or it might just be that UER popped into my head after several months of not visiting the site, but either way I'm making my presence known.

Hailing from East Vancouver, Canada, and hoping to explore more areas locally and farther afield. Once I figure out how to separate the images attached to my real name from those I'll keep anonymous, I'll have a few to share.

Hello, In miles.
I have been reading the forums for a bit, and now I have decided to become active in the community. My main hobby is photography and I am looking into integrating it with UE.
I could use someone to help teach me, and possibly even help me find places in los angeles. I am a bit upset as the first place i explored has been almost completely destroyed. Though I have found two drains that I would like to explore, but I dont know much about drains.

Hey everyone! My name is Sam, and I'm from Nassau in Renssalear county in New York. For those of you not familiar with the area, it's about 30 miles outside of Albany, New York.
I have been UEing for a little while now, but it's only in recent weeks that I have discovered that there is a name for it besides trespassing and that there is a whole community of practitioners.
I plan on going to college to be a mechanical engineer and so all of the architecture and various nuances of old buildings fascinates me.
I'd love to meet some UEers in my area and hopefully learn from their experience/ have an awesome time exploring!

Hi all am in perth west australia, just found my first drain have walked a little up it,and am gearing up to explore more during the day it trickles water to a puddle at the end but at night condensation means more water and a decent little pool is forming which suggests to me it could be quite a large network have no interested friends though so would like to meet up with others, to share the joy.

I'd like to do some hospitals having previously enjoyed scouting out various parts of most west australian country town hospitals when I worked at them 10 years ago.
These days I an self employed in perth and have too much free time on my hands

It feels like when above ground you have no privacy however remote underground the only things that matter is what's around you,i find it an escape to be therapeutic

Hello everyone i want to introduce myself. I am new here and my name is Anthony. I have always loved to explore old homes/buildings. For me it is because of the history of the building or land i explore. Also knowing that everyday these places come closer to falling down or being demolished by owners. So anytime i go to a building a try to document it with photos as best i can. So far the bigger places i have been to are the Saratoga County Homestead in upstate NY as well as Millbrook School for girls in upstate NY. Others include old train station, old home and a power house. I am very exited to have stumbled upon this website while doing research on the buildings i have been in to have a story for the pictures. Thank you to all the contributors to this site it is great so many people out there enjoy the same thing i do. I look forword to becoming a full member here in the future so that i maybe able to also post pictures of buildings iv been in.

Hey, I'm Jon and I've always been wandering in the woods and coming across abandoned buildings and what not since I was little. Back then it was just walking through the woods with a tiny little mag-light and no sense of direction. Now it's walking around with a backpack full of goodies, GPS, cell phone, and a bunch of other stuff. Since then, the feeling is still great exploring abandoned and 'haunted' places. I live in Maryland, and I'm always willing to find some new places to explore. Hopefully i'll meet the other Maryland explorers someday.

My first UE experience was HighGate cemetery in north London, England.. After dark, awesome..

I'm in Arizona, but I am willing to check out things in neighboring states also..

Hey guys my name is Mike. Im 24 years old. Im currently in college learning graphic design. Im the best at what i do. Im very creative and im down for doing anything crazy. I cant believe that this website exists. It's a godsend seriously. I thought i was the only one that was into this kind of shit but i guess not. Its amazing how many people are on here and this site is huge. Its good to know that people like us exist. I live in Superior, WI. If anyone wants to explore i am totally down for it. I have enough money to travel to any convention or to travel to any state right now. I also want to mention that i've been doing this kind of stuff for about 13 years but i just started getting into it a lot recently. I have a bunch of gear and i usually go explore with a couple people that i trust. Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself and i hope to meet some of you guys. Thanks.
