More info on that 71 Chally please!!!!
Did you get to talk to the owner?

That wrap around fender and hood chrome was a one year only option, (code M28)
and is worth some $$$

I did coincidentally run into the owner of those locations. I got his name and e-mail if you want to talk with em, I don't have money for such an investment. I do believe he has a similar make car that's intact with same color as well not sure if it's the same model.

Another that you don't see very often anymore. Pretty early before Subaru's were very popular.

A DL wagon, 5 speed front wheel drive.

Found in a hay field.

what's truly amazing about that car is it looks solid.
Subarus (at least here in northeast) of that vintage would rot UNDER the paint so the car looked great, but driving down the road, half the door would fall off if you hit a good bump. My uncle had two of that vintage's 3-door coupe and my neighbor had a wagon... they ran forever, just rotted in half!

It is rotten underneath. I know the landowner but all in the fenderwells and underneath is rotten, not worth even making an offer on. I know parts are hard to find for these old ones, but there are very few good parts on it.

Plus they left the window down so it is full of mold/mildew!

Something neat about some of those old subies- the Subaru badge on the grille flipped open like a pop-up headlight and had a passing light in behind it.

I'm not quite sure what a passing light in but I don't think you will be passing anyone in a Subaru of that vintage.
