1957 Pontiac. I have one in slightly better shape
|
Ah, thank you! I Googled it to see what it may have looked like in its better days, looks like the type of car I might like to drive. Are you restoring yours?

I'm restoring the body and modernizing the drivetrain. It'll be a nice low cruiser when its done.

How about this one?
When there is tranquility, you are in the right place. When there are no footprints, you are on the right path. When there are no tire tracks, you are on the right road. |

redefining the term "stuck"

When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store. |

Looking at the flkr shots I'd guess it's an early CJ or close to that. I love the first shot in the flkr set where it looks like it's being Tsunamied.

That is a C-101 Jeepster Commando. I had one in the same color. Tis a shame.

it has been there long before the bridge in the back ground and long before i was a teen in high school. it was a favorite spot to skip school, sit and "chill" with some zig-zags and "nature".

Sigh. It would have had most likely a 225 Buick V6, TH400 BOP trans and Dana 44's front and back. Tough bugger's.

I had one of these (a '65 1500)... beautiful car, Pininfarina body, and IMPOSSIBLE to get parts for (mine needed a windshield and that door trim) Very rare car. Not valuable, really, but a very pretty car.

"just scratch the emblem off"... it's a Fiat... if you touch the emblem it will probably crumble to dust anyway.
