Chrysler Airflow. I hear these are pretty valuable, or at least they are when they aren't 100% rust.

I've seen a bunch of cars. It's a shame because they could at least be scrapped for a little $.

Ran across this gem behind a house that had a wicked lean to it. I don't know how it's still standing, truthfully.

Listen to Samurai, Mr. Gringo. You cannot type humorously sarcastic jokes and say things like that around here (unless you're a full member or you have a 6 month star).

it's just we have seen so many cars casually thrown away. to the normal person, so fucking what? but to a car guy, these are scenarios that bring tears to the eye.

No kidding! I bought a fugly 1989 Cavalier Z24 for $400 once because it was a temporary car until I had enough money for my next one. You can only imagine the condition it was in for that price... so I'd take it off-road all the time, torture, and treat it like a rally car trying to flip it over. The last time I did the engine overheated and it got stuck in the mud. A perfect death for a car whose title was never changed 2 owners ago, so I just left it there for the police to stumble across it since it was never reported stolen. They finally took it away after 4 days.

It was that, or go through the legal process of spending more money to do the title transfer and receive a measly $100 for it at a junkyard.

that year Z24 is on the shortlist of cars that i want before I die. When I hear of one being senselessly destroyed and abandoned, it bothers me.
