1st gen Pathfinder in one of the bays of an abandoned bakery/factory in the hood. I love the ghetto wire coming down from the ceiling that's hooked up to the battery.
"Are you happy now with all the choices you've made?" "Are there times in life when you know you should've stayed?" "Will you compromise and then realize the price is too much to pay?" "Winners and losers... which one will you be today?" ***Social Distortion*** |

those were so damn easy to steal. A car thief worth their salt could be in one in under 40 seconds and have the ignition smashed inside of 15 seconds... Not that I was a car thief or anything... ;)

RicoFromMars, I must say that you are the true king of abandoned cars! I wonder, do you specifically look for them or is this what you find while you're out exploring buildings?

Found this old thing behind a gas station, the registration expired in 2010. Can't say that explains the decaying metal, though.

Great involving this thing a year or two ago a fellow explorer and I were down in those parts and had the heater core blow out of my old Volvo during the trip. We filled it up with some water and luckily were able bypassed the heater core but I needed some actual coolant. So during our explorations of this place found a brand new gallon of pre-mixed coolant in the back of this thing! So we carried it out and filled up my car and she ran great the rest of the trip.

MG Midget, late 70's model of the British Motor Company sports coupe. Found it in nearly driveable condition at an abandoned (and undergoing demolition) steel manufacturing plant/mill in Pennsylvania. Can't help but feel it was being spared for a worker who might have claimed it. Hi there, by the way, it's been a couple years since I've been on here and it's nice to see the forum still lives.
We didn't need a story. We didn't need a real world. We just had to keep walking. And we became the stories, we became the places. We were the lights, the deserts, the faraway worlds. We were you before you even existed. |

Hey Rico! Looks almost like you were in the same neck of the woods i was in cool! Swan...An old house, an old barn, and a path that led way out back to a grave yard of old trucks and vehicles. The Garbage truck still had trash, clothes and bottles in it.

That first one looks like it might've been a 69 or 70 Mercury Cougar/ flipped over one is a '64 Olds Cutlass methinks.
