This car has been purchased and the restoration is almost done. It was recently at the Portland Roadster show.
Whats the story?

the pic was from a drag racing forum. the OP asked if anyone knew anything about its history. this was a few years ago iirc. Its nice to hear that it was restored and sold. In other news, the first IMAX movie I saw was about a race car driver and his kids quest to find one of his first racecars, buy it, restore it and give it to him for his birthday.

i found a Datsun 210 coupe and 510 coupe in a field a few years ago... the owner will not sell either one.

That wrap around fender and hood chrome was a one year only option, (code M28)
and is worth some $$$
