Why are most of the cars you post so destroyed? Are the French mad at everything?

Well that picture makes me sad.
The yellow one looks like it might be a "Jeans" edition 1302S. Would have had a denim interior originally.
Both in the front are 1302s cars (Super Beetles in North America), both look like '72s as well.

Jeans edition? Did VW copy what AMC did with the levis edition (also jean material) or vice versa? Amazing the lack of rust on those old VDubs

Not sure who did it first, but I've heard of the Levis Gremlin.
And yeah, I know if those Bugs were sitting out here, they'd be rusted in half.
