People around town have been doing a shit ton of spring cleaning and dumping trash all over the roads, so far I've found two winning lottery tickets for $30, a functioning Playstation 3, an xBox controller, and about $600 worth of college textbooks.

Hopefully you gave it all a proper cleaning and disinfecting.

Things are starting to go full-retard. I got a call from an executive. Usually the only time I get a call from anyone with a key to the executive washroom is because something has gone horribly wrong and I'm a good person to blame it on. Instead, he wanted to let me know great job I'm doing . That's a massive RED flag right there. After an ear-bending lecture of corporate double-speak, he tells me I'm responsible for critical infrastructure and that I should expect to receive credentials in the near future. I was also informed that I would have to go into 14 day quarantine if I travel out of state. This is on top of the LOA and vehicle placard I got yesterday. I'm predicting internal travel restriction are, at the very least, on the table at this time.

I noticed 5 cases in Allamakee County pop up on the map and right away, wondered if Agri Star was connected. I was right. The article says 3 cases, the state says 5. https://www.theyes...h-coronavirus.html There is some Yeshivisheh Shprach in the article. Frum = Orthodox Jewish Simcha = Wedding, bris, upsherin, semichah or some other type of joyous event. Even if you don't eat kosher meat, meat that fails kosher inspection, but passes USDA inspection still makes its way to your supermarket from that plant. Albeit sans the kosher certification.

F.U.C.K Yup I'm paranoid. And I was paranoid before I even knew about the Coronavirus. So now I'm walking paranoia. Going to attempt possibly if I pull off going magically at the right time of day/right store's to go to a liquor store and grocery store to get some items tomorrow. However if they are crowded I will postpone the trips. / Just not go! I literally went to the liquor store the other day. Long story short worked up the courage to walk in got everything ready to check out. Line was super long. Lady sneezed in line and I decided to put all my stuff back on the shelves and then walk out. LOL. not FUN TIMES PS I don't know about you guys but like I'm conflicted about wearing dust mask out in public. Most people are not wearing them and I am worried I will look like a freak. And secondly I am worried that not only will I look like a freak but I will be perceived as stupid if they in fact do not even help protect you from the virus.

I was NOT sharing this to make you feel more anxiety or to cause panic. I feel a bit overwhelmed by all the recent events myself. I just wanted to post it to help those who were still on the fence about whether the whole Virus thing was just a hyped-up media story or, was really no worse than the yearly flu bug. This article helped Me to decide after reading something candid from someone who is there seeing it and experiencing it firsthand. But, as for as the mask.. if it makes you feel better wear it... Do whatever makes you able to handle things better. Dont worry about what others think. Do whats right for you.

Fuck, you guys. 500 confirmed COVID cases of people in a state of tens of millions (Texas) and it looks like my aunt is one of the unlucky ones that has contracted coronavirus. Shes been tested but she hasn’t gotten the results yet. She’s not doing well. I can’t describe the powerless feeling because nobody can even visit her nor can my family even comfort one another. This pandemic just got real for me in a bad way. Fuck. This. Shit.

Fuck indeed I'm sending my best wishes, Dee. The only up-side I can think of is that your hospitals aren't swamped yet. Hang in there.
It's great to be alive! |

I hate to have to be the turd in the punch bowl, but I have a feeling my situation is about to become a new normal for most of us. Hell, my situation (assuming no loved ones die) might be considered better than most people’s in two weeks from now. True what Emperor Wang mentioned above* about the hospitals too - which is completely fucked up if you stop to think about that for a moment. ‘Pandemic reality’ is a totally different kind of reality than anything we’ve known in the last century. *edit
