Thanks! Sorry about that, I'm past the 24 hour edit time. Uploading files won't work with the uploaded since the file size is too large. Any other tricks other than modifying each files size before upload?

Batch edit them in Photoshop or Lightroom (or photo mechanic??)

The system should take larger files, but maybe not if they’re huge and straight from the camera.

There are probably online resizer apps, too.

Or you can upload to Flickr and embed. But that’s too complicated for me. Germ does it a lot.

Hello folks, this is my first time posting in this forum (or in any other forum) ever but as I am an avid urbexer (worldwide) I thought it's about time. Especially, as Calgary is not the most interesting location at all. Unfortunately. Anyway, thus far I found a couple of places and also pinpointed some down in maps to eventually check out.
The following pictures are from a nice house somewhere inner suburbs. To get in we had to climb on the balcony (not an issue) and had to rip open the blocked door (also not an issue). Found a lot of interesting stuff scattered around along with some interesting graffiti and an separate downstairs apartment. Some downstairs bits looked like those old asbestos insulation foams. So be careful.
The last picture is from a radio tower close by, that we climbed the same night too. Happy to exchange locations and also happy for meet ups and exploring.

Thanks yo! Currently rocking a Nikon D600 and a cheap 50/1.8 + 14/2.8, but tempted to switch to a M4/3 or cheap mirrorless because I ain't a pro and having to deal with half the size/weight would be nice.

Hi all, thought I'd introduce myself here in the BC/Alberta forum. I've been on UER for a long time but not active in years. I recently moved to Southern Alberta from Ontario and the many rural abandonments and ghost towns have me wanting to get out again.

I took this over the weekend at the well known almost ghost town
Somewhere over the rainbow, Alberta

*Edit* sorry for the size, I'm out of practice. I did resize but not enough

Hey there, welcome to the province. A few of us actually just made a trip down south recently, as you can see in TheGerm's shots.

We have a provincial meet coming up in Edmonton over the summer, chime in on the thread if you're interested!
