Honestly I think these pictures are borderline Urban exploration. So yup probably done posting in this thread until I return to Canada and hopefully actually do some urban exploring.

1.

2.

Since this is a public place open 24 hours I think it's fair game to tell its location. I am choosing to do so because I would love to see more pictures of it from you guys. Maybe some light painting would be sweet to see or steel wool here. Nice thing is the place is all concrete so nothing to accidently set on fire causing the location to be ruined.

PS sorry about my departure from Urbex Everything Discord chat. It was just consuming me and I was not able to handle it so for sake of my health left it. Just thought I'd admit to it here for you guys that saw. Hope you all have a nice rest of your day! I'm off to go run errands and hopefully do some urban exploring/photography today .

My recents were from a revisit of one of the first areas I went exploring. It was quite sad to see that everything was further enforced to keep people out, but I was still able to get some decent shots!

Interesting places in Vancouver are far and few in between. But with luck, some can still be found.

To give you an idea of size. It's about 20' in height inside.

Are there many places to visit around the Vancouver region? Im from Quebec so I dont seem to see much abandoned or historical places other than construction zones and possibly rooftopping if security is lax.

La belle province.... I miss it, I grew up 5 min away from the old Quebec.

Vancouver has some neat place to explore. Nothing like in Europe where you can easily find new places daily. Vancouver's land value makes it that once a place is disused. it is quickly torn down and something new is built. It seem when ever you find a new place, withing weeks or months it get demolish.

that said, Ive been in several WWII bunkers, we have several bridges that are accessible to the savy ones, we have a few cool drains. our mental hospital is the gem... but security has been very active out there, and now one of the condemned building have metal plates covering the windows on bottom two floors of the building... old shipyard crane in north van is gone, a old boat stern that was on land is also gone... I am not much for checking out abandoned houses (tend to be boring) or doing infiltration of active places.

we have a few cool place, but once you been a few times... the appeal gets lost. I have pretty much stopped urban exploration. I only get back into it everytime I travel overseas tho. Europe has the quantity and quality that vancouver lack.

Went and explored this place with my friends in February before the location became a lot more well known. It's not much, but I'm glad I got to explore it before it became more public and ruined a bit.

Been a while folks, hope you're all enjoying the apocalypse. I'm working on the road again for the first time this year, a lot of mileage and a lot of opportunities to catch up on some overdue exploration. Planning to put some time into sharing the highlights this week, here's a bit of a preview.
