Lol the place is known for squatters vicpd have a close eye on it, it's also patrolled by the commissionaires and being surrounded by condos, the chances of getting caught are very high.

i used to live there, about 15 years ago;)

Headed out with a friend to checkout the aging ferry boat in the lower mainland here. Turns out they're prepping for filming a movie there so there was security, this was the closest they let us come. Got some useful info though, will try coming back in 3 weeks or so to try again!

Sweet pictures, looks like straight out of where your avatar is from.

How do you get outdoor pictures to look like that? Mine are always washed out. Is it just down to a better camera or are there things I can play with?

Thanks! I think it just comes down to the camera. I don't fiddle with any of the settings, these pics were just on Auto mode. Taken with a HTC One M9 phone.

I find adjusting the exposure compensation on my camera can cut down on washed out highlights, if yours has that feature try it. Smart phones might not, I don't know I don't mess with those

Burn. Beaten by a phone on auto

Thanks, I actually just wrecked my camera with mud so I'll look for a new one that lets me adjust that.

On that note, anyone have any suggestions? Something good in low-light and ideally a bit rugged would be cool. I can't really afford a DSLR, or lug one through pipes.

Thanks! I ended up getting a Lumix LX100. It sounds like it should do well in low light, and it seemed like a step towards learning cameras without getting a DSLR.

Also, the hell is this...? Gnome cellar? Entrance to KK's head?

Found a decent house but its under zombie apocalypse lockdown. Doors and windows are barred with 4+ locks. Old car out front has plates expired since 1992. virtually untouched I would expect the inside to a time capsule from the late 80's.

We both had respirators on so no we didn't smell anything. Although the odd time when id adjust my mask I could really smell it quite strongly for a quick second. I sure was glad we got them beforehand, couldn't even imagine exploring through there with no protection.
