Hi Jordan, glad to see another Wisconsin explorer around here. If you ever work your way down to the southern WI area, be sure to let me know! There's plenty of interesting stuff around this state if you know where to look.

Thank you! And I'll for sure let you know!

Hello, I am Mantas, generally San Francisco based but often traveling. Looking to meet people to explore the Bay Area or really anywhere in the world. I'm an avid photographer, and will be posting photo sets of abandoned locations I have found before joining this site.

Hey there! 30 years old from Metro Detroit. Plenty of fantastic urban exploring here in Michigan. I look forward to sharing some of what I've stumbled upon in my short time in this exciting new hobby. Any other Michiganders around here? Interested in making some new friends!

Hello UER! My fiance and I recently got into exploring cemeteries and other places for inspiration on her indie horror game that she is developing. We have done a few treks out to some abandoned places around the North Texas area, but of course our options are limited to what we can find available to public or non users of various forums and facebook groups. I'm a 26 year old veterinary technician who's looking to get out there and explore! Thank you!
Looking for DFW Urbex friends! |

Hello, My name is Rhiannon, I live in Rhode Island and have had an interest in urbex for many years. I took a bit of a hiatus, and have now started up again. I absolutely love this hobby. I finally have some people in my life that enjoy this as much as I do, and I am looking forward to talking to more on here!

Hey, my name's Ryan. I'm 13 years old and got into UE about a year ago. I had a brief understanding in photography before that so most of my progression in photography has been through UE. I'm from Charlottesville Va, where there are almost no places worthy of photographing but I've managed to find some really cool spots in the area. My instagram is @ryan.little.photo if you want to see some of my pics.

I'm C - I've been doing Urban Exploration the last couple years, although I've been into photography since high school. I'm in the Atlanta area. My regular exploration partner had some life stuff come up, so I've been stuck solo, which isn't ideal. I'm in my late thirties. I don't want to stop exploring, but I definitely want to make sure I'm being safe, so I'm hoping to connect with others in my area.
Driving from Atlanta to Dallas 6/6 - 6/14, from Dallas to Chicago 6/14 - 6/20, from Chicago to Atlanta 6/20 - 6/29 with many stops in between. If you wanna meet up and shoot, drop me a line. |

Mike,53,from Western Kentucky. I spent 33 years in North Carolina, but I'm back in Ky now. I'm a life long photographer and have been addicted to exploring just as long. I'll post up a farmhouse vid I did a couple of years ago, not sure that qualifies as UE though.

I'm T. I'm 20 and I live in Texas; I've always been interested in UE but have only been able to start a few months ago. I did a lot of photography when i was in High School so that really gave me the excuse i needed to really get out there. I don't really know anyone in the Texas area that also has an interest in going exploring so if anyone would like to join feel free to send me a message.

Cato Black is my pseudonym- I explore the Georgia area, sometimes accompanied by my personal acquaintances.

Howdy everyone! I'm a 26 year old female living in Houston, TX and definitely new to exploring. I've always been fascinated by architecture. My mom always complained I took too many pictures of buildings when I traveled and not enough of myself at those places. I also love history enough that I got a BA in it at Texas A&M university. While urban exploration has been on my mind for a long time now, I never actually did anything close to it until a recent vacation in Louisiana. Now that I have had a taste of it, I want to get into it more as a legitimate hobby. I have used much of my free time reading tips and advice posted here and elsewhere since I got back from vacation and will continue learning from the experience and wisdom of others as I make my own. If y'all want to know about my other hobbies they include LARP, TTRPG's, video games, miniature painting, and walking trails. I'm always open to new experiences and I love learning new things! I hope that I can meet up with fellow Houstonions eventually. If anyone does want to meet up and doesn't mind someone new like myself, hit me up and I'd love to come along and learn from the more experienced! Urban exploration hits my fascination for history and architecture, and my love of decaying environments.

Welcome to UER jellyfishlady I'm in W Texas. Post some sploring pics if you got em... we like pictures.
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in. |

Unfortunately, I only had my phone with me to take pictures on this trip so the quality of the pictures aren't great. However, these two pictures are from my recent vacation. After reading up on recommended gear for exploring, I'm super glad I didn't go in further because I was not prepared apparently! This was a location that was already on my list of abandoned places to visit while I was in that city, and I look forward to going back for a full exploration and better pictures. That's another hobby I'll be picking up is photography so I can take pictures of my adventures as keepsakes. My older sister is gifting me her old Pentax so I can learn on that! These are just a few pictures out of the many I took, but most of what I took were exterior shots and I read that that is discouraged to post. Location is a well-known one, but as per recommendation, I won't disclose it unless someone PM's me about it. I think it's about time I've posted on this thread. My name is Dal. I'm from Massachusetts. I've technically been exploring since I was 10, but I got serious about it when I was 15. I have a high-demand job that's made it pretty tough in the past few years, but exploring is absolutely my favorite thing to do in my free time. Unfortunately, I'm not much of a photographer and you likely won't see many photos from me whenever I post; I do it out of curiosity, and for the excitement. It may have taken me way too long to introduce myself here, but you guys have all been very helpful so far and I look forward to meeting more of you. If anyone from Massachusetts (particularly near the Cape) wants to explore, I'm always right here and down for anything. Thanks for your hospitality, guys!

Hey everyone, figured making my first post in here would make sense. 18 y/o, been doing casual urbex for the past two or so years after stumbling across it from the Geocache community. Based out of the Boston area of Massachusetts, definitely looking to find some new spots and meet some new people (and try my hand at photography for that matter- don't expect too much). Hope to talk to some of y'all soon.

I started this account a few years ago when I was still in college, thinking i would post some pictures of my explorations here. Then college sucked my soul out and I forgot to even post an introduction. That said, I have been ghosting here a bit as I found looking at all the amazing photos a good way to cheer up and inspire my art again when college took too much from me. Its nice to formally introduce myself, and hopefully I'll start being more than a ghost on these forums.
