Hi everyone
Im Sebk. Ill share my actual name if we meet in person. I'm from A small mountain town in Colorado, but currently in Houston Tx and most likely moving to Michigan soon. Ive been casually exploring mines, ghost towns and other random stuff left over from Colorado's mining time since I was a little kid. A few months back I stumbled on a video on YouTube from Shiey and have since checked out a few urban spots and Houston. Never knew this was a activity others did, much less a fourm dedicated to exploring. Im hoping to meet others to explore with, learn some stuff from those more knowledge than me and share my experiences.

Hey I'm jeff a new member trying to get full member status. I've been exploring places for years and taking alot of pictures of them , some of my pictures are artistic while alot of the are just documenting my explorations.
Ive been all over virginia and getting into the surrounding states, I've been I quite. Few places in long island ny and a few outside the us. I am looking for more locations and willing to share mine along with paths and directions on entry.
I'm usually entering without breaking, but i have done a few less damaging lockpicking and dismantling options.

Hello everyone. I've been interested in exploring abandoned buildings for about a year now but this lockdown afforded me the time to really start looking into this hobby. I'm based near Pittsburg and would love to connect with other people in my area; I hear PA is a pretty good spot for urban exploration. I've been reading this forum for information for about a week now and have visited a few sites recently and will probably post a few write ups on the lesser-known ones.

Hi everyone! My name is Jonathan. I'm from the Salt Lake area and am currently 18, turning 19 later on this month. I've always had a fascination about urban exploring and have spent countless hours watching people explore all of these cool places around the world. Of the very few places I've explored, I have always remained respectful of the buildings and have NEVER had the need or urge to break glass, spray paint walls, or tear apart everything I see. I just found this and got so excited that there's a community out there for nothing but urban exploring.

Anyways, I'm excited to hopefully be welcome to this community and I hope to be able to explore with you great people!

Welcome to UER, I'm glad to hear that you are already aware and courteous of the locations you have gone to. These are the type of people we want on our website, so I'm glad you already understand how you are supposed to act while exploring.

I go out to Park City every now and again to see family, so maybe after this whole virus thing blows over and I head out there we could meet up to do some exploring.

In the meantime, I look forward to seeing what photos and/or videos you upload.

What up, I'm fairly new to urban exploring, done a lot of hiking. I love urbex bc it feels like playing a video game in real life. My urbex interests are industrial sites, graffiti, climbs/rooftops, and underground. Recently I've started filming all my adventures to go back and watch.

Joined this site bc I want to talk to more experienced industrial climbers as well as learn new non-destructive entry techniques. Also really want to work together with other members to scout new locations. I've mainly been going to like "youtube" locations but i want to learn how to find the more hidden, truly epic locations that won't become a youtube location for 5 or 6 more years. Also my irl friends don't like scary stuff like climbs.

TL;DR
Click on me, go to my journal to see pictures of places I've explored. Don't bother reading the long ones.

Hey! My name's Moth, I'm so excited to join. I've actually done a fair amount of UE without really knowing what it was called or that there was a community for it. I'm 19 in the Philly area right now although I've moved around a lot. By far my favorite place I've lived was NC, so many cool places especially in the Blue Ridge area.

It's been really cool to read the Rookie forums and FAQ stuff. Seeing other people's photos have inspired me to buy a nice camera so I can post pics of my own adventures So pumped to be here!

PS; if you recognize the reference in my user id i'll love you forever!

I've been intrigued by urban exploring for as long as I can remember and after doing my first big explore earlier this year I'm excited to get out there and see as much as I can. Feel free to chat with me or if anyone is looking for someone to explore with let me know!

What’s cooking everyone, the name’s Solo and I’m out here in the SJ Bay Area. I just moved up and decided to explore the city by hiking more. Two months in I find a “hiking” spot with years and years of history outside of Fremont called the secret sidewalk. I spent the next 3-4 hours researching the history of this location. I guess an old aqueduct tunnel turned into party central in the 80’S? Through late 90’s?. Anyway, I stumbled on a link deep in the reddit forums to this site. The holy grail of everything I was ever looking for. I even found spots that were hidden back home! (San Luis Obispo). I have yet to explore anything other than a storm drain (my only experiences). I’m excited to get out there!

Howdy! I've lurked on this site a few times but just decided to make an account this year.

I'm from the S.F. Bay Area. Have gotten into Urbex but have trouble finding others to go with me. Hence looking for a community to be part of.

Have done some interesting trips over the past few years. Crystal Cave in San Bruno Mountain, Empire Cave in Santa Cruz, Some unnamed sea caves in San Diego, and the towns of Salton Sea. Look forward to sharing pictures and being part of the community. Also looking to find more interesting places to go, have been blown away by some of the pictures I've seen here. Cheers!

Hey everyone!

I'm Molasses, I live in Blacksburg, VA but travel around southwest Virginia and West Virginia all the time. I've also lived in Costa Rica and I am moving to Norway next year, so hoping to add some spots from there to the map. Have not gotten much into urban exploration, but I have scouted out a few places around me I'm getting ready to explore. This website has been a huge help, so I figured I would make an account and start posting some photos and info on the spots I have been through. Pura vida!

My friend and I just started to urbex a couple of months ago. We realized that we both liked to watch The Proper People and it went from there.
We've been primarily exploring in the DFW area but have gone a couple hours out to visit some places.
Cant wait to hear about y'alls stories!

Hey Everyone.

My name is Kat and I am a novice explorer outside of the Pittsburgh area. My typical go-tos are the local abandoned mines and underground caves, as I feel they don't get enough appreciation as urbex spots. Excited to share pictures and learn of other folks experiences exploring industrial remnants.

Hey everyone! I am Symon and I live in central Alaska, near Fairbanks. I love food and playing DnD with my friends. We also recently got into urban exploration. I'm super happy with the welcome I have gotten from the community and the help I have received, too.
Can't wait to see how much more we can discover!

Hello there.
I'm Rob. While I've always been into exploring and discovery since I was young, it was mainly concentrated to hiking, nature, and the occasional mineshaft. About 3 years ago me and my friends were bitten by the urbex bug, and our excursion into the urban side of things began. I'm from the suburbs of Sacramento, CA and am delighted by local area history; I appreciate all finds big and small and hope to bring to light whatever I can scrounge up in my vicinity. Looking forward to sharing, learning, laughing, and exploring with this community! If you have a good joke, a spicy meme, or a cool rock song send it my way.

Hey everyone!

I live in Alaska and have been interested in URBEX for about a year now ever since I stumbled across the Proper People youtube channel. For a while I was concerned that there would be nowhere in my area to explore as its very rural and most structures aren't that old to begin with, but am learning there's so much around me to explore.

In the last few weeks, me and my two friends have been venturing our way out into abandoned sites and having a ton of fun exploring, especially when we come across places untouched by graffitists. I've also very much fallen in love with researching the sites immensely before visiting them. I look forwards to a summer of exploring all that Alaska has to offer to hone my exploration skills before moving to New England in the fall to explore a whole host of new places.

Hi! My name is Daria, I just posted a request for full membership. I live in the Chicago Suburbs. I've been to an abandoned post office, plane, art school, church, bowling alley. My reason for joining this site is because I want to find an abandoned location in Chicago! Currently, I've explored in Gary, Indiana and the surrounding Chicagoland suburbs. I've always wanted to explore in Chicago but I haven't found any places yet. I've been in the Urbex Community for about 4 months now. Being 100% honest, the first abandoned place I explored was a mistake. A good mistake! I love trying to visualize the story that was left behind in each of these spots. It opened up my eyes to actually look what's right next to me!

Here is some of my Urbex collection!

I tried to upload videos, I didn't know they would post like that. I'll be sure to make another post with the locations I found!
