#4... poor Cavalier.

My dad had a brand new Cavalier like that one, louvres and all. Came across a ton of photos of it when I scanned the family negatives.

I was taking a different route on my walk back home and found an abandoned house with a 4 car garage. inside were a few things.

A couple of Yugos:

what might be a volvo, or a subaru:

and something older...what do you think? Rolls Royse? Mercades?

Yes!! My first car was also a 2 door 91 Cavalier. Base model though. So base, in fact, that it did not have a passenger side rearview mirror! Apparently this was a OPTION in 1991.

The first one is a 80s Honda Civic. The station wagon is in fact a Subaru. Looks like a Loyale. The one below could be a Benz or possibly a Volvo. My knowledge of foreign cars that old isn't the best.

the first one is around an 86 Honda Civic. And yes, there is a Yugo in there. The wagon is a Loyale and yes, that's a Benz.

Only a mechanic would say that.

Customer at Parts store: "Can I get a gas cap for my Yugo?"

Parts Manager: "Sounds like a fair trade to me".

It was an option on my 93 Civic hatchback as well. That was the only option it had - no power steering, the dash clock was a blank panel, no arm rests, no visor mirrors etc.

there was one of these running around here last summer. The kid that had it got it from his grandfather and from what I heard, blew the engine up. It was actually rust free and had less that 60k on the clock.
and of course, El Rednecko painted it primer black and beat the shit out of it.

Had the 'Colt' version - was actually a nice, inexpensive car. ...faster than the Corvette from 0-50mph.
