the usual end-stage Buick owner here is a dirtbag. Seriously, all of them that are like their final roll through the odometer are owned by dirtbags, punks, pill peddlers/poppers and thug wannabes. Now the thug wannabe Buicks are my absolute favorite... rocking Lumina wheels and glass pack mufflers with wal-mart window tint and No Fear stickers on them, truly ghettosport at its finest!

HAHAHAHA yes. I see you've visited the town I live in. Although people here also like "modding" late 90s Malibus, too.

WHO in their right mind thinks a thugged out Buick is cool? I can't think of an uncooler car. They're designed for the fucking elderly.

you got a Camaro as a rental, Neko? that's not like you.

Sometimes you have to see how the other half lives...

Not bad in this case. Not brilliant, but reasonably OK. No idea why the trunk opening has to be so small, or why the seat does not have a full range of adjustment, but nothing fell off. Which is pretty good for a US-made car.

It even rode OK over those appalling NYC roads. Neko.

No doubt! I had a 924 that kept breaking down once too.

The last few years of rentals in the US have been OK (Mustang) to pathetic (Caprice) though. Funny enough too, the often maligned Jeep we had was probably the best screwed together car we've had in the US.

Mind you, the Electra 225 I learned to drive in probably was made as good as our E230...

Was reading the local paper this morning and they were talking about how they were disappointed on how the foreclosed property sale went yesterday. They were talking about how this hospital (that is 20 minutes from me and I didn't even know it existed) didn't receive any bids.

The pic is pretty shitty but went to this place a few minutes ago on my lunch hour at work and didn't have anything but my phone with me.

I just rented a couple while in Hawaii. One was on Maui and the more beat-up one was an off-road rental on the island of Lanai. The rental on Lanai was a treat to drive on the off- road sections. It never complained and it never had a rattle. Both were a lot of fun and now I'm shopping for a jeep to customize.
