| | | I am up for any place(besides the boat semi sketchy until we have some one check it out). I am pretty pumped for going into Moirs once everything is out of it. Damn that place is big.

| | | Whoa whoa whoa, Moirs went under?! They've been there forever! And sonik, I'm probably gonna go down there on the 12th during the afternoon if you're interested.

Unfortunately so. My grandmother bought a number of boxes of some sort of chocolate, if you hurry you might be able to get a few before it's all gone

| | | As far as I know it IS all gone. They halted production and laid everybody off just before Christmas.

| | | I find it very hard to believe that they went out of business. That was HRM's main source of chocolate, lol. Oh well, looks like we've got ourselves quite an opportunity here.

I think Moir's was owned by Hershey which saw it as a waste of money so they cut it loose. But there is a plus side.

| | | Indeed, Moirs hasn't existed as its own company in years. Hershey is closing down a lot of their Canadian plants as a cost saving measure, and moving production to Mexico I believe? [last edit 1/6/2008 8:56 PM by hfx_chris - edited 1 times]

| | | That seems to be the trend with most companies; pull production from U.S and Canada and put it in Mexico to save a buck on wages. Bloody corporate ass clowns.

| | | Before I forget, I did a little bit of recon earlier in the evening, turns out the wharf leading to that orange boat is NOT lit. It's completely dark over there except for the huge flood lights that overhang the gypsum machinery.

| | | And those are not too close to the wharf, are they? I guess that means staying low to the ground and near the edge of the wharf farthest away from the lights.

| | | Nice. At least it will be easy to get to the boat at night. Just get the smallest flashlight you can find a block out most of the light from it with something and its a matter of walking. You thinking about going on it soon?

No, if you were to walk on the wharf at night, there's not a chance in the world anybody would see you unless you give yourself away.

Covering a light is easy, just get a red lense for it. I'm still doing some recon on the surrounding areas, so it probably won't be until it gets a little warmer before I go over.

Unless you are me, in which case you would dress like the God damned Russian Spetznaz and laugh at all the freezing people who shall shiver uncontrollably in their sneakers and jackets. Bwa ha ha ha!

Or unless you're like me, I don't get cold as fast as other people do. I'll just wear a winter jacket, combat boots, toque, and gloves and I'll be set. Just so long as it's not snowing, there's nothing for me to worry about.

Yeah, and make a friggin lot of noise with your winter jacket and other cold-weather paraphernalia. Not to mention it's nowhere near as easy to maneuver yourself into small or tight spaces wearing a large jacket, scarf and big gloves. Oh, and when you start to warm up, you can't exactly take off your jacket and other winter gear and easily carry it with you...

| | | Good point, but I already said before that I'll probably wait until the spring before I actually go check it out. At least then i can wear something light, but still warm.
