Oh, yes! I rode the heck out of the fibreglass Ankylosaurus. That photo didn't turn out, though, sadly.

Or alien, of course.

You are not alone! I've currently got a raccoon skull with half a face macerating in a jar of bleach water in the hood of an unused lab at school... Once de-faced, he will be an excellent addition to my morbid excellent collection of found skulls.

Nice! =D

Pics or it didn't happen...
|
my friend on another board has the same quote: "Without a pic, it didn't happen." Funny you would mention that.

| | | once, while exploring in san francisco, a friend showed myself and some other friends a little cave thing under this ledge/pier. it was right on the bay and when it was low tide, there was this amazing art exhibit or something that must have been by like twenty different artists. there was something about that you could only view it at a certain time of day that made it really cool. and you had to risk falling in the cold-ass sf bay to see it!

| | | I guess the coolest thing I have found recently was a radiation tester at an abandoned nuclear laboratory. The tester wasn't from the operational years of the place. It seems to be how the currently monitor the site for radiation levels. The tester was disappointedly not mechanical . It was like a litmus paper strip of some sort in a basket. Haha I guess if it changes color your screwed!!

| | | I found a new TV and DVD player at an abandon electronics store. The store had not been abandon for long, maybe a few hours but it was abandon. I mean, noone was there, all the lights were out, so it was abandon, right?
The nightmare corpse-city of R'lyeh…was built in measureless eons behind history by the vast, loathsome shapes that seeped down from the dark stars. There lay great Cthulhu and his hordes, hidden in green slimy vaults. |

Down in the mines I found a perfect condition miner's pick, full size, with the wooden handle and everything intact. Some rock drilling rods with rock bits, several intact dynamite boxes, a blasting cap box with instructions. All of it roughly 90 years old. I also found a whole bundle of newspaper pieces from the early 1920's that were in great condition. Lots of fuse cord, and 2 dead owls.
Give a person a match and they'll be warm for a minute, but light them on fire and they'll be warm for the rest of their life. =) |

| | | so far i have found hundreds of log books from the local children's insane asylum place. They were dated as far back as 1965 up to the 80s. They have minute by minute details of what they did to children as far as "medicating" them and there was a big box of douche bags by the logs too.

| | | Dead animals are pretty common - we always give them names lmao. A find that really sticks out to me right now is an accordion - it still worked, but none of us knew how to play. The damn thing was HEAVY, too.
