I dunno what's creepier: the clown or the dude on the left.

the dude on the left looks stoned out of his gourd.
I've been to 1-year-old birthday parties before, so I kind of don't blame him.

My explorer friends and I found a 95% intact nuclear reactor. We had to leave it behind because it refused to fit in the car without looking suspicious.

Whaa-aaattt!?

That's INSANE! There are countries that would pay MILLIONS to get a hold of that. Why would anybody leave that like that? That is ridiculously dangerous.

Most of the exploring I've done was when I was growing up near these old farm buildings, so I haven't found too many cool things. I did have a giant collection of old keys that I kept in case they came in handy one handy (portal to another dimension?) and a skull that I never could identify, although it appeared to belong to an animal.

As opposed to... a human?

Victorinox Rostfrei vintage Swiss army knife.

No lock, no safety so kinda useless, but in really good condition after a polish and sharpening. Coolest thing I've found so far.

I was exploring the local abandoned brickworks last year when I noticed this graffiti:

"Treasure awaits"??? I continued on and found this lying on the floor of an upper level:

A treasure map! It also showed the way to Lego Land. Sadly the treasure was long gone and I couldn't find Lego Land no matter how hard I tried.

You're allowed to take any old polaroids you find. After all, the rule DOES say "take only photos".

Found this weigh scale at Conner.

This weight scale was like the bees knees man, it still works.

*Overview of scale*

*Me barely standing on it*

*My weight on it.*

Overall, this IS the coolest thing I've found besides the 2 lawnmowers that were to the left of this photo on pallets, that I have seen.

An abandoned tourist trap on the side of a mountain road in Japan. Who said Americans have a monopoly on roadside dino kitsch?

We found a stash of VHS porn in an abandoned condo building. I kept one tape.

"Everyone Woman Wants a Penis"

How could I NOT bring that home? Sadly... I do not have a VHS tape to discover why I want a penis. I feel that this is preventing me from fully realizing myself as a woman.

My favorite things that I find on a regular basis are dead animals. I guess that's a little odd... but I am a biology nerd. Skeletons are amazing. The best dead animal I've found was a bat. It was remarkably intact.

i went into an abandoned train station in oakland and there were SOOO many rooms, we were there for 2 hours and didn't make into every single one but there was one room filled half way with just sunglasses and another room that we couldn't walk through because it was filled with children's toys--creeepy! in the same station, i found a huge key from israel and it was surrounded by burnt candles-i took the key, i hope it is not cursed.

You are not alone! I've currently got a raccoon skull with half a face macerating in a jar of bleach water in the hood of an unused lab at school... Once de-faced, he will be an excellent addition to my morbid excellent collection of found skulls.

Oh daaaaamn, I'm a palaeontology nerd and I would've gone crazy in that place. Please tell me that you rode at least one of them.

Drainers shouldn't feel left out of the dinosaur shenanigans, some workmen in Canada recently found uncovered some dinos in a drain:

I was checking out an abandoned psych hospital complex last week that's been empty for well over a decade and found that someone had dumped lots and lots of toys around the place. Weird.

Oh, yes! I rode the heck out of the fibreglass Ankylosaurus. That photo didn't turn out, though, sadly.
