| | | The coolest thing I've found so far was in a psych ward that had nothing in it besides most of the rooms where filled with tree branches, and a giant stack of really old medical textbooks.

You must go now.
Before a big explore I like to work with leather. The Native Americans always said that working with hides and pelts releases the soul. |

Cool people, definitely. Sounds like you're in the "bunch of haters" group. Hater.

| | | ^haha nice! When I visited Brach's candy factory I found some empty rooms that looked like they used to be offices and they had key boxes hanging up still full of keys. A set of those made for a pretty cool souvenir. Recently I went with a friend to this abandoned detention center. We found what must have been their health office and it had a box of hiv/aids information booklets in it. Teaches you lots of cool things like how people get hiv, what the symptoms are, safe sex... and of course... a step by step guide on how to clean your drug needles to avoid infection when sharing your 'works' with others lol.

| | | I went exploring in what I thought was an abandoned strip club. The place is really infamous in my area, and it had been closed down the year before for selling alcohol to minors. When we got inside, we found that the place was a dump. It had my abandonometer blaring. The place smelled stale like an abandonment, there was dust everywhere, and the toilets and bathroom fixtures were smashed, too. While walking around the place, I found a stack of porno mags that was bigger than me, and the fridge was filled with non-alcoholic beer. The place was totally awesome, and there was quite a lot to see for such a small location. It also operated as an inn, so there were rooms upstairs, which my friends and I were eager to check out. When we got up there, I walked into a room that was FILLED with keys. I've never seen so many freaking keys in one place - not even in a key factory. It was shortly thereafter that I noticed the air was smelling less stale, more like fabric softener... I stepped out of the doorway and a friend came booking it out of another room down the hall shouting "GET THE FUCK OUT NOW!" Right behind him was a sweaty 300 pound man wearing nothing but underwear. We ran like hell, around the corner and down the stairs, but when I was at the top of the stair, I heard him come around the corner and yell "DON'T FUCKIN' MOVE!" I was at the bottom of the stairs by the time he finished saying it. I wasn't sticking around to deal with a 300 pound dude who lived above an abandoned strip club.
My soul is full of whispered song, my blindness is my sight; the shadows that I feared so long, are all alive with light. |

haha, true that. The keys I took from Brach's I'm pretty sure are for the paper towels dispensers in one of the mens' bathrooms... but if anyone asks I'll have to come up with something cooler.
Damn, nice find Abby!
