My friend last time got into it, she said it's a bit flooded. I went a few months ago but I got there late in the day and sadly didn't have enough to find it. I want to go back so bad but I think it's going to have to wait a month or two.
We were here...and it was glorious. |

It has been easy to access this in the past. Not much left to indicate it was a bowling alley though. The wooden floor boards are long gone and the only clue to its former use seems to be the cubby holes where the shoes were stored.

| | | | i was at this location a couple months ago beware if you go theres a house right in front of the entrance gate and its definitely not ok to be there so be stealthy we ran along the marsh thats next to the gate and jumped over the wall to the right of the entrance after the gate as not to be detected then ran the trail to the neighborhood inside the grounds there was some awsome shots we took of the grounds i have them posted on here somewhere look it up i have more too if anyones interested most interesting and what i thought was great is we found a bar in the rec center pictured here
its a great site and if at least 3 people show interest in going ill go back and we can check it out together ne time private message me if you want to go i know the exact location and ways to get in undetected

|  | | | The Bowling Alley doesn't look like a bowling alley from the outside. By the houses, there's a big metal square thing, and two beige blue-roofed buildings. The bowling alley is dried up now, except for the end of it. It's North of the Barracks and mess hall.
And to an earlier post:
There is a round incinerator like building on the South East side, it's got millions of cameras surrounding it: STAY AWAY FROM IT. It's an active air force radar.

I've driven my truck right up to the fence, but never went around and never had a problem, so this seems to be true.... If you go out there, you can head towards the building, but don't do stupid stuff at the VOR! Simple, the rest of the land is abandoned. But federal LEO's do patrol out there, and I've gotten caught out there by them.

| | | | If you guys wanna go i'm down. This place has a lot to offer and I'll bring along my photo work so we can show them if we get stopped. I was there a while ago and we didn't run into anyone at all the whole time. The trick is to use the gate with the guard shack, and run down the marsh next to the shack then hop in on the other side of it and run down the road to the houses.

This was directed at YouOnlyLiveOnce, while I doubt it would have been an issue I didn't want the officer who stopped us to remember us. I meant we can go back because A) Legally when asked to leave (by the property owner or agent of the property owner) if you return to the property with in two weeks then your trespassing. If one goes in through the south gate, then it's semi-legal.... and  the officer was likely to forget me..

From my visits I could access everything from the south, but if you can't get some mode of transportation in there, it's not worth the hike, go in through the north gate....

| | | | I've gone once....through the northgate. If you're skinny enough the gate opens just enough. We walked around for about an hour then saw people with guns and we left. The car we parked next to was some Sonoma catering company so I'm sure they had no real cruel intentions.
I'd like to return again so as I keep hearing they want to begin demo of the environmentally threatening buildings.
Can anyone confirm the south gate is open? I'd love to drive in. One of my cars as a light amour package.

| | | | If you are caught there by the military police they will line you up facing the wall and shoot you execution style in the back......no not really they will shoot you in the head lol. Anyway if you are caught, and It's becoming more and more likely just explain that you are a photographer and explain to them you stumbled onto the base while taking pictures of the local wild life in the marsh next to the island that should do it. Just be sure to take come samples of your work to show anyone who confronts you, and try to be stealthy without looking suscpicous.
