| | | Posted by Mosfet I was prompted to post namely because I finally did get busted while throwing a party out there in the mess hall. I have a decent amount of footage that I've been dying to share but did not want to jeopardize getting caught. I'll post them as soon as I find them.

Last time someone admitted to throwing a rave out at Skaggs a lot of people here were pretty angered. I wouldn't suggest posting photos of your party here, as that's not what UER is about.

What I meant to say is that I have a bunch of photos from exploring the area during the day and night that I have been reluctant to post them.
Posted by RomanKam Can you get into the antenna array building?

The microwave antenna (the smokestack looking building in the distance to the right) and the pump house are the only buildings that are off-limits. The pump house less so, because you can technically get in through a window, however they use it occasionally and one will find fresh fuel and oil when they visit it. I assume the "microwave antenna" structure you're referring to is the very much active VHF Omni Range navigational aid ("VOR") to aircraft, operated by the FAA. It never had anything to do with the Navy mission. FAA techs visit it on a routine basis. They shouldn't care too much if you look at it from outside the fenceline, but you should heed those warning signs on the fence.

Yup. Although, that pump house...from my understanding they still use it during the rain season to keep the farmer's lands from flooding, as that was part of the government contract with the landowner, and part of the reason why delegations have taken so long to flood Skaggs. Is that indeed the reason?
