| | | i bought an awesome SOG knife last year, yes the brand used by the navy SEALS. It was the mini pentagon, i would highly recommend it if you're willing to shell out some money for some serious hardware. combine it with my ninja skills and i am invincible. leathermans work great, too.

| | | It looks like this thread was moved to the rookie forum because it sounded like I was asking for help about choosing knives. I was only curious what knives everyone uses. Don't worry, I won't hold a grudge against the person who moved it.

| | | those the Strider folders or the Buck/Strider? those are nice as hell, I also want one insanely bad.. Currently I carry a folding box cutter (got used to having it on me after being required to have it for a while) as well as my SOG Trident (which is an insanely bad ass knife and pretty cheap too) then a "Camping" version of a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife that I got as a wee kid and keep in my backpack for those odds and ends.. In addition to that I also have two multitools in my backpack which I suppose could be classified as knives

No martial arts I took karate until green belt. But I started collecting swords when I was 16 I stopped around 19. Four of my swords are Battle Ready quality. Two www.knightsedge.com Katanas. The Hanwei Practical Plus Wakizashi and a Damascus Katana I bought at a Rennissance Faire [$325 w/o tax]. Most of my other cheaper collection was gifts for christmas or birthdays I'd put a $20 sword on my parent's list. My friends have bought me one or two of my swords and the others were bought at Reconnaissance Faires. My knife collection is getting smaller though; I've sold a bunch of those off because I've needed cash, lol.
