It's not something I want to do alone, so maybe it's a good idea for an after the meet up explore type situation.

Sweet.. I'm not even sure yet if there is a suitable way in, but I've been watching this place for about 2 years now... I'm quite surprised no one has found it yet.

Ooooooops, sorry! I've been busy, drove to eastern Kentucky and back over the weekend, abandoning the old family home. (Well, someone's moving into it, but the UE side of me wants to call it abandoned.) I always wanted to find a way to explore the old family coal mine -- the house was built over the entrance, so I figured that some creative sledgehammer work on the basement walls might find something interesting. My mom, though, was not terribly supportive of the idea. ;)
I've got a fair chance of making the meetup. I'll try to call tomorrow, though, to confirm that the joint is actually going to be open. Nothing quite as annoying as having to post a note on someone's door saying "oops, please meet down the street!" (It's happened before!)
Oh, and as for Bacefook... I don't know if UE folks are the "social networking" type. Maybe if someone invents an "anti-social networking" killer app. (Actually, you're soaking in it!)
