heh...Trespassing is trespassing if you have been informed by the owner or a person with the apparent authority of the owner of the property that you are not allowed to be there. That includes signs and fences. I used to carry around the relevant law in my pocket when I worked security back in the 80's.
Yeah, primo sounds good to me, I don't drink personally, but I abuse the hell out of caffiene.

If we have the meetup at Primo's as currently scheduled, it'll be an exploration adventure. Because the joint is... abandoned. (Too bad strip-center abandonments tend to be boring.)
Leah (of Waiting For One) just sent a note to let me know that the group's concert there has been cancelled. She stopped by to drop off flyers and say hi, and found the joint empty and dark, and the doors locked.
So, any other ideas? I would lean towards Al's Hamburgers, right across the street. We've had a meetup there before, and the general consensus was that it was fun. Can't remember if they had beer. In any case, that would let us keep on track with the plan (such as it is) to do some not-trespassing-if-there's-no-sign exploring.
There's also a "Fox and Hound" in the same center as Al's, if alcohol is the primary attractant for UE types.
Or, we could come up with something entirely different. I've just got to be back in Dallas for Karaoke at 9pm, at the Stone Elephant. Leah's Karaoke setup will be in full effect there, with the purple lasers and everything. But that's just me!

And they're really good we should consider having a meeting there.

they have one in Roanoke, which is closer to center...but then again, pretty much most of deep ellum is one big abandonment.

So Al's this month (a week from Saturday), see if the new Tarrant County crew can make it. We've met in downtown Fort Worth twice, and the only ones there came from Dallas. Meeting up with urban explorers is like herding cats -- it's not like we're the social-butterfly type, after all. Wouldn't have it any other way. dammit
