That's just my opinion, of course, and keep in mind that I'm biased towards hole-in-the-wall joints -- I'm sure you couldn't have guessed that I lean a bit to the anti-corporate side. But we've been thumbing our noses at corporate cuisine for seven months, now... maybe it's time to do our part for the stockholders. Besides, I've got a soft spot for Chick-Fil-A -- anyplace with the guts to voluntarily close on Sunday gets a gold star from me.
Though I gotta admit that I'd rather meet at Eisenbergs. Does anyone remember the Blue Ramp at Bachman Lake?

Thats the best way to be. I love my hole in the wall joints (including Hole in the Wall Hamburgers) the food is just better and usually they are in an old building!

Grapevine would be good if we were getting a lot of folks from FW... but so far, the FW crew has been down in a drain or something and hasn't shown up (except of course for Happiedaze!). So unless we hear the coyotes cry in the western sky, I'm leaning towards Plano.
I don't spend much time in Plano (Oak Cliff is more my style), but I've heard that the old downtown area is coming back. The only things I know in downtown are the DART station and Eisenbergs. Have any eatin' joints opened up within walking distance of the station?
