| | | Greetings to all, this is SecurityHazard from CO (only known as such by those whose buildings I infiltrate, of course)! I generally stick to roofs and theatres (and/or both), but have some tunneling plans in the making. I'll post pictures of some of my prior exploits in a bit, but in the meantime, hi to all, and I must say, it was most excellent to find out that I was far from alone with my interests, and that there's such a grand community of UE people worldwide! Cheers!

| | | 3, 2, 1... and I can finally post. That was painful. I did take the time to read a bunch of things though. So, me... I'm in the PA/NJ area. New to the site but not new to exploring. Actually just got home from an adventure. I can't wait to share, meet new people, and learn as much as I can from everyone. I've been enjoying myself but now I get to share it Thanks for having me!

| | | Hey all, I just moved out here to Seattle from Minneapolis, which was an incredible area for UE. If any of you have seen the recent documentary on Netflix, Action Squad is based in the Twin Cities and has been a blueprint for organized exploration for a long time. Here's their site: http://www.actionsquad.org/ These guys were extremely welcoming to new explorers, which made it easy for me to meet some new people in a new place. I'm hoping I can find the same here. I've been browsing this site for the last few weeks since I got out here and I'm not sure how active Seattle is, nor if longtime members give new ones the time of day. But if you're another new member like me, feel free to private message me so we can meet up. I've got a car and have my eyes on a few potential sites to check out. Here's a few pics from some of my missions in Minneapolis and St. Paul.

| | | Hi all! My name is Manzil, I live in Kitchener, ON. I'm sort of new on here, signed up but haven't posted anything just yet. I've explored locations in Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge area as well as a few in Stratford, Maplewood, Clinton area, Hamilton, Algonquin Area, London and Windsor. I've made many day trips with my friends and just can't get enough. I've been exploring for as long as I can remember. Barra Castle was my favourite location in my area before they tore it down. Some other places I've explored are the Scott Street house/townhomes, Mayfair Hotel a few dozen times, as well as the house across from Scott Street before it was demolished, the house on Trussler Road before it was demolished, apartment buildings on Regina Street in Waterloo, The Erb farm houses before they were demolished (loved them!!!), BUDD Canada, a few drains around my area, and at least 3 more locations in Cambridge. There are a few more but I'm not sure of their location/name. I'm planning on taking a trip to the Preston Springs Hotel sometime this week with Vapula!! So excited! My brother went yesterday and told me about it and I just can't wait! I'm interested in expanding my explorations and of course my photo collection. Urban Exploration and photography are my hobbies and a couple of the loves of my life. I haven't done much with my photography but I am too shy to show my photos just yet. I recently bought a new Olympus camera for exploring which I am hoping to get better photos than with my old point and shoot (which is what I used for the photos I attached). I'm looking forward to getting to know this site and possibly some of you :P Sorry for the long post, lol. Manzil.

| | | Heya, I go by DottedWithHearts here, but you can call me Bri if you'd like. I'm sixteen, and I live in Mendota, IL, which is in the Chicagoland area and fairly close to Rockford, Aurora, and Bloomington. I took my first UE expedition a few months ago with a group of seasoned explorer friends and instantly fell in love. I have an affinity for archaic architecture and urban decay and love to photograph and write poetry about the places I've been. Under the philosophy that you can never have too many friends, drop me a message if you're in the area and would like to meet up and explore sometime. <3

| | | Hi, I'm Michael. I've been exploring for a few years now, and I've lurked around UER without an account, but I figured it was time to register. I've explored with seicer several times in the past. I tend to enjoy industrial sites and hospitals the most, though anything is fair game. The picture is a TB hospital here in Kentucky.

This wouldn't happen to be that not at all famous TB hospital here in Kentucky that absolutely no one knows about that I'm thinking of, would it?

| | | Hey folks! I go by Devon, and I live in the Denver area. I've been lurking here a while, commenting on some of your exciting photos and such, but finally got the nerve to do the ol' "hai i'm a n00b" introduction. hai i'm a n00b. And I mean a total n00b. I've done some UE, usually when I travel (China and France most recently), and nothing extreme, but I consider myself an armchair archaeologist and history buff and I love to explore. I'm not a UE Jedi master--heck I'm barely a UE Padawan--but I am enthusiastic. Hope to meet some new people and learn something new!

I'd love to get together with a group soon (maybe around Louisville?) to explore. I'm gonna try to post some pictures from an abandoned high school near my town soon. I've spent my few days unable to post anything reading tons of stuff around here, so I hope I'll get the hang of it soon.

| | | Hi everyone, My name is Lisa and I'm a professional photographer in CNY who is just getting started in UE. Until recently I've explored abandoned houses by myself (when they appear safe to do so), but I now have a partner who is also new at it. I've spent the last few days reading through the forum and realize we have a ton to learn. Anyway, I'm excited to find this forum and hope to have a chance to explore with some in the area someday. We have our sites set on abandoned psych hospitals in the area but realize we need a lot of experience before attempting them. I'm attaching a photo of one of my first explorations.
Yep, there's a watermark. Get over it. |

| | | I was told to introduce myself, so I will My name is Olive. Im a 22 year old female and I live in PA, and Ive always had a secret sense of exploration and wonder. Luckily, I live in the suburbs of a huge city...so there is tons to be explored! In my regular life, im a baker for a retirement community. My hobbies include sleeping, cleaning, sleeping, putting puzzles together, sleeping and reading haha. I love to watch documentaries on TV: I find them very interesting. I'm not a "professional" photographer by FAR, but I like to go out and take shots of pretty much anything with my Shrek green Olympus digital camera. My iPhone hipstamatic is quite the dazzler as well! My friend on here, RebelDead, takes all the better pictures. Mine are just back-ups I wish the best of luck to everyone out there exploring. Be safe and respect the places you go to. I know none of y'all would do anything to harm them, but you never know: some people have bad intentions. They were there long before some of you were
Happy Travels!

| | | Hey Everyone! Resident of MA here, just outside of Worcester. Did a bunch of exploring years ago, now getting back into it. Not really a photographer. I am working on a video game and needed images. I can't draw so I started photographing what I needed which lead me back into exploring old abandoned places. Would love to meet up with local members sometime.
