Dude, did you put that there? You should take it photos of it everywhere you go, like that thing that people do with the yard gnomes.

Posted by corbenator
I fucking second that notion! That's so freaking perfect! Please please please please please take this everywhere you go. It'll be like your photo trademark.

Yes I put it there . I got it a local toy shop awhile back. He's my sidekick I am taking him with me everywhere. I need to get a little pouch so the bobble head doesn't get bent .

Took this with my brand new Nikon D90. I'm so excited to actually have a real camera now. Now to start saving up for some good lenses to replace the 18-105mm kit lens it came with.

Nice job as usual Musket.

Here is another one of MusketBoy's pics, taken from atop a very large shaky object.

So...

Are you guys just going out to explore together or are you really just seeing each other from afar atop a roof by chance?

Barry, I thought the counselor advised against telling that story anymore?

Saw a P51 formation fly-by over Enchanted Rock on Saturday. I was doing some rappelling up on Turkey Peak when they flew over.

I could be wrong, what do you think they look like?

I wouldve guessed Tbolts based on the wing silhouette and short nose

those things are awesome as like in flying tanks awesome

Sorry Rev, those are North American AT-6s. P-47s are quite a bit bigger.

Great shot of enchanted rock! I love that place, Ive sat up there many times.

1. Here is an AT-6 or a model of one anyway:

2. P-47 Thunderbolt, note the semi elliptical wings on the 'Jug':

Crap, I think you're right Bustedknuckle. I have some closer shots and they have the flat-ish wing tips like the AT-6. I might have had a better chance if I had seen the shape of the canopy. Whatever, I'm better at identifying bombers anyway.
