Its ok I will find it eventually you forget these buildings arent exactly hiding they are in plain sight! Oh and yeah sometimes you might could just stroll right in but sometimes it is more fun to grapple your way in there or climb 3 stories up the side of a building or jump off a pole onto the balcony of a hotel! I finaly got over my vertigo!

That's cool and all but I like exploring and taking photos more than using all that equipment. I just want to see the inside. If I can stroll on in why risk getting caught or hurt ? I like easy !!! It's fine if you find it , it's not like I own the building, I'm just not giving you any more freebies. Your style of splorin makes me nervous. You go ahead and climb 3 stories and smash out windows , meanwhile I'll just go through the side door Not hatin just statin !

P.S. I will give you props though for the Texas Tower , thats a dangerous window to jump thru !!

You should see I got like 3 different ways into the Savoy now and one of them they will never figure it out! Oh the Texas Avenue building not worth it It sucks im running outta buildings downtown some I just need to go back and get better pics from the roof top when the weather is nice!

Dude, downtown is not the only area with empty buildings . Houston is an urban wasteland. There are buildings everywhere you turn. Just go waste some gas and get lost , you'll find some spots

Had a blast running around with Rev, Nixxy & Ardamas today! Still need to edit the photos from today, but I just love old signs & had to share this one. Sadly it's a little blurry, but that's OK.

Haha! That is a SWEET sign. I can't say for sure that I wouldn't bring that home and frame it.

Hey Musketboy - that looks like the building that had the seemingly alarmed freight elevator. Ever go back? Might be going to Houston this weekend with Alexplorer if you are interested. Got some mediocre drain pictures from there.

If not, I'm up for some DFW exploration this week/end. Leave for Utah the 28th.

Lemme know when you get a chunk of time off. I can fly down to SLC (or Las Vegas, depending on where you are) and meet you...we should head over to Gilman; among other things.

Will do. I'll have to head back to Texas my first few times off probably to take care of some business, so it will probably be a month or two till then though. I'll go back and check those other shafts with Tom if he's interested for you. Took a second look at that watershed map posted earlier - I didn't realize it was so complete. See if can't make your theories more concrete.

SecretSquirrel - Overflowing storm drain is awesome! Where is it? Looks like the bayou north of downtown, maybe around the aquarium? In the second picture, is/was there a road under that overpass?

Actually the storm drain cover is across from U of H , that underpass is directly next to the campus.
