I don't recognize where you guys took that vertical panorama (RevSM), and that mysterious metal tube shot (Allva). Dare I ask where they were taken?

Dare you?

Atlas F5 578th SMS ICBM missile silo near Abilene, TX
Status: don't try it unless you've been invited.
1 of 12 sites supported by Dyess AFB

The door is OPERATIONAL... 75 tons of concrete that can be opened or closed using the hydraulic ram as pictured.

Awesome?

Yes.

I thought Allva's shot was familiar - I've seen the same style of tunnel of the silos in Colorado. 'Cept they didn't have the lights on. And yours, I thought, "My what a big concrete door"...

Cheers to both of you for accessing such a place.
